Course Curriculum Overview :
Jagsom provide T shaped curriculum this idea influenced my decision to choose jagsom for my PGDM. The curriculum integrates both dynamic and theory aspects and nurtures individual to be ready for this dynamic business landscape. Top notch faculties make this curriculum more interesting and understandable. We have exams at the end of each semester.
Internships Opportunities :
As a 1st year students, I am not directly indulged with placement and internship but our seniors got good internship in good companies. 80% of the batch got intership from the college and students are getting good opportunity.
Placement Experience :
Overall placement is good, the average package is around 10 lac. The placement season usually starts in January month and ends in April month. Companies like Genpact, Schinder eletric, and wipro come in campus to recruit.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees is quite affordable when it comes to doing an MBA from a top-notch college and the roui is worth it, the quality of education is so good that all the fees is worth is per penny, the scholarship is also available for the top students who perform good at academics.
Campus Life :
Campus life is very amazing, We had many celebration of festivals like Ganesh puja and Diwali. Apart from this we had doctorial consortium in the month of December, where professor all around the globe comes to participate and give directions to the students for their future, it is a great fest to connect with great leaders in the field of management. We had a Library , In which more than approx 3000 books and journals. With a nice seating arrangement. And we have access to online library as well. Classroom is equipped with digital projector for a sound experience. We have around 10, placement, cultural, martech etc. Students can join any committee, for some committee students have to give some test and interview.
Hostel Facilities :
While not directly on campus, the JAGSoM hostel offers a comfortable and convenient option for students. Here's a breakdown of my experience: Location: Although 3 km from campus might seem far, the regular bus service makes it manageable. Depending on your preference, you might miss the immediate campus vibe, but the distance fosters a quieter living environment. Food:The menu variety is a big plus! Having different options each day adds diversity to your meals and prevents monotony. The quality of the food itself would be helpful to know for a more complete picture. Accommodation:The rooms sound good! Weekly cleaning ensures hygiene and a comfortable living space.
Admission :
Admission process was not very complicated, I gave an exam Jagmat which is conducted by jagsom itself. Exam consists of Arithmetic portion, English portion, and logical reasoning. Exams and interview both happened on the same day, In interview we had 2 rounds , In the first round professors and Alumni took my interview basically asked questions related to my graduation subject and In the Second round it was shoulder batch interview where I had an interview with seniors,.they were very polite and asked questions about hobbies and interests. Overall Process was very smooth. Because it was online so I didn't find any difficulty in this process.
Interview Experience :
We had a Group Discussion process which happened before Interview. We had GD topic of Road accident in India , In our panel there were 2 Evaluation members , we were aked to put our thoughts one by one. Topic was relevant because before the day of interview there were some news related to this, so i found comfortable while speaking. Preparation: I read the current news and listen some interviews videos for how to convey thoughts in a structured manner.
