University School of Management Studies is an on-campus school of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University that came into existence in 1998 in New Delhi. USMS GGSIPU offers a PG Diploma in Data Analytics for a one-year duration. The selection of candidates for the USMS IPU PG Diploma is based on merit in the previous qualifying examination. The student intake capacity for this programme is 30.
USMS, GGSIPU Ph.D. Admission 2024
USMS GGSIPU offers Ph.D. in Management Studies in full-time and part-time modes. Candidates will be selected based on merit in the Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET) conducted by the University or any designated agency by the University. The Ph.D. Entrance Test will be conducted online (CBT) / offline on an OMR Sheet based upon MCQs followed by a personal interview conducted by IPU. Candidates who have cleared a national level examination like CSIR-NET/ UGC-NET-JRF/ GATE/ CEED or equivalent fellowship do not need to take the entrance test and can appear directly for an interview. I took my admission through the CAT entrance exam, which can be found on the official website of collegedunia or edushastra. I would like to see the eligibility percentile for the course to go up in the next upcoming years.

Admission:
First, you need to clear CAT with a percentile above 60 so that you get selected in 1st round only. Then you need to fill out the application form which you can find on GGSIPU's official site, you can apply for a specialized MBA as well. The form was around 1200 something.
Remarks:
The biggest reason to pursue MBA from USMS is that it is affiliated to GGSIU and the course fee is so affordable. Apart from that, the placement rate achieved every year remains constant i.e. more than 75% are placed on- campus and the rest get selected off campus. Also, the admission procedure is too easy to get into it. Since I was eligible, I filled the application form which was made available from Feb- May and further I appeared in the entrance test i.e. IPU-CET. In the end, I got selected on the score obtained in entrance test, took admission and now I am pursuing MBA .
Remarks:
I completed my bachelors from IP university as well and really enjoyed my time here. I was very satisfied. So, me and my friend both planned on doing our MBA program from IP university as well as the management was great here and we would be able to continue our studies together. The institute is rated A+ among the Best B-Schools. By paying an application fee of INR 1200, I submitted my application form online through the official portal of the institute.

You have to give cat in the month of november after that you have to wait for cut off in july if you are eligible in the cut off then u can take addmission in this college. the semester will start in the starting of august

The admission process is pretty simple and straightforward. Management is very much supportive during the admission process. I applied with my IPU CET exam scores and then I was called for the counseling process. IPU is just few stations away from my house and with that reputation, it was my first choice for an MBA.
