Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because of my interest in the marketing field. The student-to-faculty ratio in the college is 15:1 and all the faculties are well-qualified and are at the top of their respective fields. They used hands-on work experience through various case studies, industrial visits, and assignments. The exams were quite timely and the difficulty level for someone who has studied for the exam was moderate.
Internships Opportunities :
There are a lot of internship opportunities available at the campus itself in different domains and the stipend varies from company to company. I worked as a Relationship Manager intern at EduMentor Educational Services Pvt. Ltd. and I was responsible for building and maintaining relationships with the clients.
Placement Experience :
The students are eligible for the placements from the start of the third semester. The number of companies that visited the college campus was more than 100. The highest package offered was 13.87 lakhs. Almost 70-75% of the students got placed the previous year. After I get my degree I am planning to work in the corporate world and do well for myself and the company.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The ROI for the college is pretty impressive as the fee now is around three lakhs for the whole course and the average package is around 4.5 lakhs. There are a lot of scholarships available for those who are willing to work for it and the college provides financial assistance for the students as well. I got an internship with Edumentor Educational Services Private Limited with a stipend of fifteen thousand rupees per month.
Campus Life :
Life at the campus is pretty amazing, the annual fest (anugoonj) of the whole GGSIPU is organized on the main campus. The library is well facilitated and you can find a lot of books, but some of the books might not be available. There are a lot of clubs for different extra-curricular activities. The placement cell is run by the students themselves under the guidance of faculties. There are also clubs like FRG( Financial Research Group), and VIPNAN( The Marketing Club).
Admission :
I took my admission through the CAT entrance exam, which can be found on the official website of collegedunia or edushastra. I would like to see the eligibility percentile for the course to go up in the next upcoming years.
