Symbiosis Institute of International Business (SIIB) is a constituent of Symbiosis International University. SIIB Pune offers MBA in multiple specializations viz. International Business, Agri-Business, and Energy and Environment. The flagship program of the institute is MBA-IB. A total of 210 seats are available for different MBA specializations, 120 for MBA (IB), 60 for MBA (AB), and 30 seats for MBA (E&E). SIIB Admission for MBA is done through the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) conducted by the institute. However, the final selection will depend upon the GE-PI-WAT process which includes Group Exercise, Personal Interview, and Written Ability Test.

SIIB MBA Admission 2025
SIIB offers a 2 year specialized MBA programs namely MBA-International Business (IB), MBA-Agri-Business (AB) and MBA-Energy, and Environment (E&E). The intake capacity of MBA (IB) is 120 while it is 60 & 30 for MBA (AB) and MBA (E&E).
Further, MBA - IB offers the following 4 specializations:
- Marketing
- Finance
- Supply Chain Management
- Human Resource
SIIB MBA Eligibility
- Candidates must have a Graduation Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% for SC/ST candidates)
- Final year students can also apply but their admission will be provisional and subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% for SC/ST candidates) in the qualifying exam.
Eligibility for Foreign/NRI Candidates
- Candidates must have obtained more than 60% as a qualifying grade in Graduation (in the case of Postgraduate programs).
- Also, they must have appeared for an English Proficiency Test conducted by the British Council (IELTS) with a minimum score of 6 or the IELA Test with a minimum band of 3.
- Foreign candidates/NRI/PIO/OCI must have a valid passport and Visa.
NOTE -
- A candidate who has completed a qualifying degree from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from AIU.
- The candidates must confirm if they possess the required qualifications for admission while applying for provisional admission.
- Students with any sort of backlogs / fail in their final results will not be eligible for admission.
SIIB MBA Selection Criteria
- Applicants who will secure a valid score in the SNAP test are shortlisted by the Symbiosis Institute of International Business. Know more about SNAP Pattern & Syllabus.
- After shortlisting, the shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the GE-PI-WAT process for selection.
- GE-PI-WAT process is held at the SIIB Pune campus.
- Thus, the final selection comprises SNAP test scores and performance in GE, PI, and WAT rounds.
- Those who are selected will receive an email from the institute informing them about their selection.
The weightage for the final selection is tabulated below:

Students applying under the NRI category don’t have to appear for the English Proficiency Test (IELA/IELTS Examination).

How to Apply for SIIB Pune MBA Course?
The candidates interested to apply for admission to SIIB Pune need to register first for the SNAP test and then for the MBA course. The steps to apply are listed below:
- Visit the official website of SIIB Pune.
- Click on the “Apply” tab.
- After that click on the “Register” tab.
- Fill in all the details and click on the “Submit” button.
- After successful registration, Pay the registration fee of INR 2250/- for the SNAP Test.

- The thing which I liked the most was the IB specialization that gives an edge among other aspirants and also other programs such as Faculty Mentorship, Alumini Mentorship are the USP of the college.
- The campus life is also amazing with bonding activities and overall a comprehensive experience with all facilities at students disposal.

- To be honest, If I really have to say about something I did not like in the college, it would be really hard to pin point something as I have been very satisfied with the facilities and amneties.

The admission process comprised of the SNAP Test, followed by the GD-PI Process. The cut-off for Symbiosis Institute of International Business was somewhere between 88-90 percentile. Eligibility Criteraia: Student needs to appear for the SNAP Exam. They should have completed their Graduation or must be in the Final Year of their Graduation. Application forms are available on the college website on the homepage. Once you complete the snap test and get through the cut-off, you are sent a GD-PI Call Letter. Then, you have the option to choose your preferred date and time slot for the GD-PI process. (The process is conducted Online) Next, during the GD-PI process, there are volunteers available to guide and help through the process. It is conducted in a very smooth and efficient manner. Finally, if you are selected, you are sent an admission letter, wherein you need to pay the 1st Semester fees as a confirmation of acceptance before the Program Commencement date of the college.

Interview was based on current business knowledge, know how of technology and few subject related questions.

The likelihood that you will be admitted to SIBM, SCMHRD, or SIIB depends on a number of variables, including your academic performance, work experience (if any), performance on the admission exam, and performance in the selection process (group discussion and personal interview).
In general, entrance to SIBM and SCMHRD requires a solid profile because they are very selective business schools. A renowned B-school as well, SIIB may have a little less competition.
You should aim for a high percentile on the entrance exam (CAT or SNAP), have a strong academic record, and have relevant work experience (if applicable) to boost your chances of getting into these B-schools. Additionally, since the group discussion and personal interview rounds are so important to the selection process, it is critical to prepare effectively for both.
