- To be honest, If I really have to say about something I did not like in the college, it would be really hard to pin point something as I have been very satisfied with the facilities and amneties.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is aligned with the industry requirements. I chose the MBA-IB program to get an edge over other MBA aspirants as I will get an understanding of the international business market here, opening the doors to foreign job opportunities. In the curriculum, there are subjects such as "Global Strategic Management, Trade Forex & Risk Management, Export & Import Management, which are advanced core IB subjects. Even the faculty are professors with more than 10-20+ years of Industry Experience in their particular field. The faculty teaches on Case study learning-based model citing real-life scenarios rather than orthodox bookish methods. Even the exams are conducted in a similar pattern, and if a student focuses on the class, he will be able to score good marks easily. Also, students are allotted a faculty mentor each to guide them through their MBA journey.
Internships Opportunities :
As mentioned earlier, companies like Tata Motors, Asian Paints, Crisil, L&T Finance, etc., come for internship opportunities. The role varies from specialization to specialization and there is a diverse choice for the candidates.

The institute offers 100% placements. By the end of 1st Semester, the college starts the Summer Internship Program Placements for the students. There are companies such as Asian Paints, Tata Motors, Crisil, and AkzoNobel that come for hiring summer interns. Even for Final Placements along with these above-mentioned companies, there are others as well - Delloite, Adani, Nestle, etc. There is a varied placement profile for the students. The highest package offered is 39 LPA, and the average package is 13-15 LPA. There are many students who are also offered packages ranging from 18-20 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid :
The fees structure is divided into Academic Fees, Hostel Fees and Mess Fess. The fees for 2nd year is subject to change but it more or less stays the same. There is a scholarship opportunity provided by IDBI Bank to the students of SIIB, details of which are shared by college to the students who have enrolled for the program. The placement are also good and college hosts companies of diverse background ranging from IT, FMCG to BFSI, Manufacturing, etc.

The library, gym, swimming pool, TT Table, basketball court, football, etc. are all provided. There is a dedicated Study Area for students to study. There are also various clubs that look after various cultural activities. Ignisense organizes the ANNUAL FEST in a grand manner. Classrooms are also modern with Smartboards. Overall, Life at SIIB is Amazing.

The hostel is a three-sharing room, with a toilet and a shower room. There are three beds with pillows provided to the students. Food is provided four times daily - Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner & Snacks. The food is fresh and of good quality and a lot of variety is provided with the menu being changed every week. In SIIB, there is a compulsory residency program. The whole process is easy and hassle free.
Admission :
The admission process comprised of the SNAP Test, followed by the GD-PI Process. The cut-off for Symbiosis Institute of International Business was somewhere between 88-90 percentile. Eligibility Criteraia: Student needs to appear for the SNAP Exam. They should have completed their Graduation or must be in the Final Year of their Graduation. Application forms are available on the college website on the homepage. Once you complete the snap test and get through the cut-off, you are sent a GD-PI Call Letter. Then, you have the option to choose your preferred date and time slot for the GD-PI process. (The process is conducted Online) Next, during the GD-PI process, there are volunteers available to guide and help through the process. It is conducted in a very smooth and efficient manner. Finally, if you are selected, you are sent an admission letter, wherein you need to pay the 1st Semester fees as a confirmation of acceptance before the Program Commencement date of the college.
Interview Experience :
My topic for GD was based on the then current Geo-political situation but topics do vary and may be Abstract topics as well. The test pattern is simple, and guidelines regarding the snap exam are on the website. For PI since I am a fresher, questions revolved around my academic background and my interest of specialization. It is advisable to keep a subject or two handy for PI and prepare basic questions regarding your specialization. I just went through some YouTube videos of interviews, brushed upon current affairs, and also went through my UG Academics for my preparations.
