This college is well known for this course. The faculties are good. The faculties are very friendly. The student-to-teacher ratio is perfect for education. Weekly exams are held for students.
The placement is not very good, but if one tries for an off-campus interview or job drive, they might have better luck.

Dislikes

Stipends are available for poor students who are unable to afford the minimum college fees.
My opinion is that if students strictly adhere to the institutions discipline, then our college should be ranked as the number one college in Kolkata and also in West Bengal.

maharaja Manindra chandra college has quite huge rooms that's interesting part of college.
Teachers and faculty are really very Frank with us.

Dislikes

There are no frequent classes.teachers are quite lazy.
There are many rules in library and also many type of fine in library

The Bcom(H) course is quite good for every student who want to know about finance and business but from the college we never get any practical knowledge of business or finance which is really important for real life.

Best campus and better natural space than others college. Tree planting on whole building and more cleaning all rooms.
Best teachers, they are always ready to help you.

Dislikes

In this college 3 shift so more students gathering in one time.
Some students of other shifts are making disturbance in other shifts college timings.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I also do B.com honours in finance and accounting in my course i never face any bad situation in my college. So I'm always ready to getting help from my teachers. My college every month creating some practical course like mutual fund, HRM related courses. So we are better than other students.

Buildings are not well maintained, they need to maintan

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose Bcom course because it gives you basics knowledge about accounting, taxation, auditing, marketing. And the timings of exams are 6 months gap and the course difficulty level are moderate . I don't think about any improvements needed.

My course has the Ability to provide more knowledge about the accounting system and process,but The duration of my course should decrease. Despite that everything is perfect . Probably we'll have good internships according our excellence.

I likes the behaviour of the teachers they are not very much annoying and strict they helps infact.
There is not such pressure of attendence which is great for the one who also works part time.

Dislikes

The classrooms are not at all cleans so yeah
They don't organise many fest in the college which is I guess a college should do for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college is affiliated under Calcutta University and follows CBCS Pattern of Course structure. I choose this particular course as I was interested in it. It had 5 subject at the first sem Accountancy, business law, microeconomics&stats , English, Principle of management. The exam's are taken once every 6 months one is in the college which is known as Internal and second is taken at off campus at another college. The classes here are not very regular most of the time teachers don't show up for the class. There are around 300 students in my cource. And I may say inspite of teachers not taking regular classes, exams are not that though one can't pass it, it just take a month or two to complete entire slybuss.

I had always interest in calculation. And also i am so lazy for study I thought there has only calculation no study so i took this course but now i know the real truth ???? But in this field i think lots of carrer options in this generation . So if you want to work in corporate site or interested in baking , stock market so go for it Its quite hard to pass the exam because our university took semester in every 4/5 months ????

Our college really conducted a daily classes and by the number in their hand they given the most.
The sports events organised by our college is such needed thing in our daily life.

Dislikes

Our library facility is older day by day I think they should improve this.
They should improve the daily routine of classes their is much gap between the classes

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chosen this course only because of my interest in accounting and commercial studies. Otherwise, I think commerce is the only way who never fails to earn money from anywhere and I will also saying that I'm not only choose this course to earn money. From my point of view this is a really tough course more than any computer application courses or business administrations. And the student ratio of b.com hons. is less day by day not everyone maintain the same when it comes semester 3 to 4 to 5 the students are decreasing from that.

The classrooms are very big so you will not feel out of space

Dislikes

Washroom was not so good it could be more better
No playground so you will not get the sunrays in winter

Faculty members are very good they will teach you in a simple language but they will not repeat old topics again and again so you need to be sharp while learning new things and one of the professor Soumya mukherjee sir is best for accounts.

The best thing was few teachers who taught us regularly they were very helpful .
The atmosphere was good and the location of the college was very good so it was easy to travel for everyone.

Dislikes

The amenities were very bad and the help form seniors was not available.
Some of the staffs were bad in their behaviour and some teachers were bad at teaching too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Term exam was very much on time and they usually happened before the main yearly exams though now everything is a semester system. The difficulty was of average though few used to fail a lot the teachers were helpful. The faculty is so nice and also qualified in every sense.

Atmosphere of college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as it helped in increasing my understanding and knowledge of the subject. There was a required number of faculties to teach the honours and pass subjects. The faculties were indeed highly qualified and were enough helpful. Moreover, their teaching method was also better, especially in clearing concepts. It was essential to provide importance to each segment of the course to perform better in the exams.
