The men's hall each resident gets a single room which is quite big and comfortable. They do not provide AC facilities to the students. In women's hall they reside in a three share room and the seniors or 3 or 5 years get single rooms in Martin hall

In my first I was in hostel. There I paid ?44000 in starting and then I paid ?3000 to ?6500 per month for food and other facilities. Food will be very good in hostel. I'm now second year I'm now staying outside in a house. The rent of the house was 12000. With me there are three members. We divide the rent and we prepare our food.

Hostels are basically called halls in MCC and there are 3 halls for men namely St.Thomas's hall, Bishop Heber Hall and Selaiyur hall and there are 3 halls for women also namely Martin Hall, Margaret Hall and Barnes Hall. Steel cots , tables and shelves are provided in the rooms and it is spacious The halls provide Tamil style food and inclusive of non veg also The hostel is very affordable and the registration is done through the official MCC website only. Students from far away places are given more priority. And there are so many rooms and pg around the college premises itself. There will not be any difficulty in finding a place to stay

MCC follows hall system rather than hostel system. There are three halls for girls ( Martin, Margaret and Barnes ) and three halls for boys ( selaiyur, St. thomas, Bishop Heber ). In girls hall, 3 students stay in a room and in boys hall 1 student stay in a room. Food is good but it is a bit costlier than staying in a PG. The halls offer a great opportunity to explore the talents, participate in programs, sports and other cultural events like rap, ethnic walk, dancing, music, singing, poetry etc. It might sometimes be a burden too for students who completely want to focus on studies.

GO AT YOUR OWN RISK GIRLIES AND DON'T IGNORE THE 1 STAR/ NEGATIVE REVIEWS ON QUORA OR ANYWHERE ELSE:) the male halls, they are spacious and each of them have their own rooms. you have your normal college lore and each hall has their own history, TRADITION (emphasis on dat) with a hall song and everything. Mess menu depends on the residents and the female halls have the same thing but you gotta share a tiny room with 3 people. And you have to bring your own fans coz they're aren't any on the ceiling:)The halls are clean(speaking for the women's hall, idk about the men's) the food is meh. If you're south Indian or aren't picky then it's edible. The registration process is the same as the college admission, there's a form on the college website for hall admissions, you apply, see if you go in (they usually have 3 lists) per hall and have a nuce chit chat with the warden and boom you're in (Physically). If you do wanna go thru the whole tradition/emotional manipulation just go to andapuram

In our hostel, we have a bed, table, chair, and shelf and each room is a single room in a hostel, there are 199 rooms are there. The meals which each mess manager provides vary but the food is really tasty. With the application of the College there, they gave space for an opting hall or not and only 19500 Rs. For one-year hostel stays which includes food and all activities happening in the hall including hall day.
In hostel 1 single room for one people and u have mess fees monthly the foods will be good in the hostel the registration process will be separated in website u can apply for that The room outside we can get for 5k costs
For boys, one room is for one person, whereas for girls it is three-person per room. We are provided with a Table, chair, and cot. The rooms have a 24/7 electricity facility. The meals provided in the halls are good and really super. The registration process is very easy and the process will be displayed on the website. There are 3 halls for men and 3 halls for women. It is in fact tough to get admitted in the halls. The hall life in MCC is something nostalgic and it will be enjoyable more than college life.
