The hostel is also one of the best things in the college.
The best thing is that there is no dress code in college

Worst part of college is that no placement are being done companies are not visiting college
Bathroom in college as well as hostel is in very very bad shape.Mostly the water doesn't come in our hostel.The Hostel Warden Doesn't come to meet us.

Placement Experience:

After 4 th year students are eligible for college placement actually during the 4 th year they apply for college placement. About 70 percent student placed. My plant after getting degree to work on very reputed company like Google Microsoft.

Information regarding Jabalpur Engineering College and some of my experience

You get a lot of time to do learn new skills
Professor are great and very understanding also they have so much of knowldge

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not that much good it looks you are in very old college
Very low package companies visit and mostly related to software or cs branch

Placement Experience:

About the placements mass recruiter companies visit with package of 3-4 lac for software related profile and most of the branches are eligible to sit in placement. Also some companies visit with profile of business development ( or we can say for a sales job) with package of 5-6 lpa. I my time L&T visit for some core branch profile but select very less students. You can also go for off-campus placements but you have to prepare by yourself, some of the students in my time had cracked the good placements. And the other option is gate, gate is less tougher exam then jee and you can prepare by yourself also if you start early or also can take coaching for gate online and offline. As I took drop of one year and prepared for gate and I secured AIR 289 in ELECTRONICS. So at last you have to work hard to built your career if you are taking this college

Placement Experience:

in the placement of our college is very poor only 30% students can get please in a very low package and only on the top branchs on the lower branchs its just more difficult to get placed. some of the company are LNT Reliance.

The overall syllabus is pretty well curated and the academic requirements were kept in mind.
The campus is big enough, it's not crowded at all.

Dislikes

Hostel locations are not inside the campus but are separated by the main road.
Lack of support for extra curricular activities.

Placement Experience:

The placements are not exceptional and haven't been so for the last couple years due to recession. But that's not saying that students don't crack them. Infosys and TCS are mass recruiters among others. Placements are mainly for final students only. Students are required to maintain a certain cgpa and the details of packages aren't available yet.

The curriculum emphasize practical application through project and real world case studies . I like the college campus of our college its academic block and all the department are well maintained
The hostel of the college is also very good and hostel fees is very low

Placement Experience:

Placements are also fair in the college but from recent 2-3 years due to recession the number of companies reaching college has deduced but still some companies approach the college for placement. Students are eligible after 7th semester to get into placement

Campus life of Jabalpur Engineering College in very fantastic ,the cultural events are amazing 🤩.

Dislikes

Campus Placement are definitely decreased right now and less companies are came this year.
Sports facilities of Jabalpur Engineering College is in too low standard.

Placements rates of Jabalpur Engineering College has been decreased and some company are coming to hire the students at average package of 3.5 lac per annum. On campus highest package is 13 lac per annum and off campus is 52 lac per annum.

The low fees is the one and only advantage of this college

Dislikes

Almost zero placement opportunities, not even 10% of the students gets placed
Very poor infrastructure, typical "government" facilities. No water, no canteen, no proper electricity, almost none of the computers are working

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is alright. There are a lot of subjects which are too old for the present times. And they don't have the modern day subjects like BlockChain and data analytics, I think the course and curriculum should be revised according to the present times

Land in which college is build is very big , still couldn't explore full campus properly.
Infrastructure was decent but now its imporving more

Dislikes

75% attendance system , (EC department HOD was very strict)
maximum 2-3 chapters will be covered in a semester out of 5 , (some times even 1)

Placement Experience:

after 6th sem students become eligible for placements but TPO was not capable of bringing decent companies in the year 2024. Companies visited in which EC branch was allowed to sit were Reliance, Ingenx, Coriolisis, Appalto, and 2,3 more, each giving an average package of 3.3 LPA except Reliance whose package was 8.5 LPA but only 2 students were selected in it.

Placement are good . Over 85 percent students were placed in 2022 placements
Students are sent to iIIT BHU for gaining knowledge

Dislikes

Campus Life is not good that much. Maintanence I'd not good
You will have to do coding on your own as coding culture is not good

From 7th sem the students are eligible for campus placements. Companies that visited the college were Wipro, HCL, TCS,Infosys and many more. Highest package of last year was of 32 lakhs that was offered off campus to one of the student and lowest was 2lakhs Almost 85 percent students were placed .
