I like the examination system of the college
I like the environment, as it situated in the city

Khalsa college amritsar Pros cons

Likes

The most liked thing in the khalsa college is the religious and cultural programmes.
I liked the college architecture and the greenery in the campus its about in 330 acres
The faculty is too much friendly and they teach in very easy way.

Dislikes

The quality of network in the basement administrative block is too weak while paying online fees
They don't close college on government announced holidays
There is too much hot in the summers when electricity gone off.

Placement Experience:

They provide placement in last year of course. The students visited the Reliance stores, amazon, icici prudentials etc. , Highest package given is 7 lac per annum and average is 5 lac per annum. 80% Students got placements each year. My plans is to pursue my llb degree in khalsa college of law amritsar after completing bcom degree and part time job

Campus as it is an old institution its a heritage site too people from different countries visit here too
Canteen there are four canteens and food is good

Parking issues if u got a royal enfield sorry bro u cant park in the campus

After your four years are completed, In the internship program u have to serve for 1 month in college opd and after that 5 months in a hospital all over india as it comes under indian association of physiotherapy

The structure of the hostel is too much good and it's very worthy to live here rooms are also too good the environment is very good here
The location of the college is very nice. This area is very porche and this is the middle of the town if we want something we can get it very quickly because the market is very near. Location is too good
The events are too good they organise events very genuinely the events which are the organising are really too good be really enjoy that

At sometimes the mess of the hostel was not good it is not that the message not too bad but sometimes you need to eat something good that's why
The weather of the Amritsar in winters in really not to good it is getting to cold in winters and the fog is everywhere so I will tell that the winters of Amritsar is not too good
Similarly like winters the summer is also not good when it's June July the weather is too hot to handle this is only reason I don't like it so much

THERE ARE VERY MUCH TREES AND PARKS.SO WE CAN ENJOY LUNCH BREAK WITH OUR FRIENDS IN THE PARK.ON THE BIRTHDAY OF GURU NANAK DEV JI NAGAR KIRTAN HAPPENS.
THERE ARE FESTS LIKE YOUTH FESTIVAL,SPORTS FESTIVAL,BOOK FAIR ETC HAPPENS ONCE IN A YEAR WHICH GOES FOR 1-2 WEEKS SO THE STUDENTS CAN ENJOY AND PARTICIPATE IN DIFFERENT ACTIVITIES LIKE MUSIC,DANCE,SHABAD KIRTAN ETC.

College buildings were good some of the teachers were also good
they made regular announcements of the activities going on in the department
attendence system is highly good as teachers help in that

Dislikes

College buildings were not having lift facility as my department was on the 4th floor i really had to struggle to get there
college building water supply area was not clear it was always dirty
Some teachers Misused their power of taking attendence not proving the attendence

Placement Experience:

placements were good company regulary visit the placment departent and it was also announced which company is coming thyw also had a placement group by adding all the stuents they made a community and then students used to get updates from there but they did not provided good salary so i did not opt of any

Curricular activities are amazing and helps students develop interest in studies
Minimum attendance should be 75 percent to appear in exam.

Canteen food and experience is so poor for me.
You have to take permission of teachers even you don't want to attend the lectures

There is a collective placement cell in our college for every department. Mostly the placement drive near about 7th semester. Much limited students are selected for the placements in Private limited companies. 7th semester students are eligible in placement.

The infrastructure facilities are very good here. The chance of getting additional courses side by side study are generous here.
The faculty and teaching experts are very nice . It provides friendly environment. The teaching methods used by them are very effective for the students.
There are various seminars and extra curricular activities are conducted by the college. Book fairs, every festival celebration is one of the most popular of this college

Dislikes

The mess or canteen is not perfectly designed. The AC must be installed here and According to the size of college it is small
The placement drives must be effective and they must come from the huge and reputed companies. These companies must give chance to every students to take exposure bit they don't do.
AC must be installed in classrooms too. The new courses must be added.

There was 4 months internship at Nippon asset management company. It was virtual internship but giy very good knowdge here regarding the mutual funds, banking and i did field work too by collecting the documents pf clients who wanted to invest in the mutual funds.

Likes

Friendly environment, all students are very kind and generous. The faculties are also very friendly to each student and always helpful
Greenery in campus makes the environment more peaceful
The infrastructure spread in 330 acres with different facilities such as best canteens also the buildings are classical type makes it breathtaking.

Dislikes

Parking charges everyday, no 4 wheeler entry for students

Internships Opportunities:

There are online and offline internships offered in different organisations. They offer paid as well as voluntary internship for the development of the students. Industry visits are organised to develop students industry applicable.
