- The college experience was awesome. There were so many extra curricular activities. It provides a stage to the students to get together with the students from different regions even the foreigners.
- Infrastructure was good. We were having 2 auditoriums 2 canteens and a big playground.
Dislikes
- During summer it became so hard to be in class since there was no AC and the fans were very less in numbers.
- The buildings were so old. Since it was established in 1899.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course was designed so well. That includes one general elective subject of your choice too other than your course specialisation. And there were some computer language related subjects too like html. C++. The exams were moderate.

- Delhi Delhi University is like a big treasure chest of knowledge, with lots of different subjects to pick from. Whether you're into science, arts, or business, there's something for everyone here.
- Infrastructure is good . Your college will have a placement cell and an internship cell who will do their best to help you . You can also be a part of college societies which helps in developing your overall personality.
Dislikes
- Placements at all the colleges are not good . And the colleges having good average packages are not able to place their majority students.
- If you are an out station student living in Delhi then a major challenge that you may face is finding good friends, finding good place to reside at .
Course Curriculum Overview:
Mathematics honours is opted by many students keeping in mind that they like the mathematics curriculum as it was in class 12 and class 11 . But the reality is that this course is literally different from all that you have studied during your secondary schooling. The course delves to making you understand calculus, elementary real analysis, linear algebra, probability and statistics, differential equations etc. You will learn Ms Excel and Wolfram mathematica which is very useful. The exams happen twice an year and they are not at all difficult. You just need to listen carefully in class , solve previous year question papers and rely on notes . That's it . Even if you study a month before exams the game is in your hands . You can clear exams easily with good marks.

- Good atmosphere and good faculty with good teachers, but I would suggest to be some sort of friendly behaviour should keep between student and administration
- It was good , I would say that you can't make more friends but you can socialize with everybody if you are an extrovert
Dislikes
- Administrative staffs are not friendly like we are students and they always thinks that we are just strangers
- Canteen was good but not maintained so far , they don't provide much options

Course is bit hard than expected (its also because of hons degree i have elected ) . And also here mathematics includes lot's of theories that is quite difficult.I expected most problematic questions and answers in this syllabus

- The departments are very good with highly qualified professors and the environment is too good from the academic point of view.
- The college life is just outstanding with many societies, clubs and many opportunities are there for enthusiastic peoples.
Dislikes
- The boy's hostel is under construction for more than 3 years now and is expected to be completed by 2026 and for the middle class family students its not very much affordable to live in PGs and flats.
- Many opportunities like the Research center is not easily accessible.
Course Curriculum Overview:
According to NIRF, Hindu Colleoge is in the 2nd Ranking among all the colleges of India and its B.Sc.(H) Mathematics course very highly rated and the professors are very friendly and most of them guide you in every aspect of your academics. They highly appreciates your enthusiasm and often support you to avail the summer/winter research fellowships/internships. The department makes you feel like you are in home. All our profesors are highly qualified with Ph.D. degree and 10-12 years of experience on an average. Only end-term exams are held at the end of each semester and its not very tough to pass with a good CGPA if you are regular in your class and pay attention to the lectures.

- You meet a lot of new people from different states so got to know more about India which is quite interesting.
- The events are amazing as many famous people come for speech , singing, etc. Many ministers do come like recently Dr. S Jaishankar came to our college
Dislikes
- Classes , assignments , and everything is too hectic, we barely get time to focus on our self growth.
- People here are more into elections, so you will meet many fake people who are just helping you before elections to get your votes.
Course Curriculum Overview:
As I was from PCM, maths was one of my favourite subject and I wanted to do research in mathematics, so I opted for Bsc Maths (hons) .Our class has 52 students which is a quite good number for a teacher to teach as it gets interactive and interesting when we have students with common interest. Professors usually teach from their notes and through slides and students too are asked to present their PPTs infront of the class , which helps to improve their communication skill and knowledge. The professors in my are college are mostly graduated from DU and IITS and have done bachelor, master and PhD in their respective subject. They are the best professors which you can get for studying your respective course. Semester exams usually occur in 6 months but internal exams usually go on for whole semester which make your CGPA for finals. A negative aspect of all these things is that you get a lot of assignments, tasks , tests , etc which are exhausting.

- Very focused students and teacher in Academics.
Dislikes
- No boys hostel in our College due to its demolition and building new one takes time.
- Food is not that good in college canteen .
Course Curriculum Overview:
I opt for Maths Honours because I have interest in Mathematics and also wants to do research in Mathematics. In our College, In Maths department there are 15 faculty members and approx. 260 students . Most of them are P.Hd Holders . There is semester system, twice a year exams and these exams are normal level , if studied in class them easily score 9 CGPA

- Entry gate of my college is not so good
- Front boundary of my college is not good
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose BSc honors in a mathematics course. My maths was good till 12th and I was very interested to read maths so I chose this course. My college faculties are very punctual to time and very disciplined, faculty of the college is very sympathetic to students. College faculty qualification is a master's degree I think. The teaching method is very good and they teach us from their own notes and their notes are very useful for us. Here is the semester-wise examination for 2 semesters in 1 year. The semester examination is challenging but not for an intelligent person.
