Placements are very good for finance students as big companies come early to campus. Students become eligible to sit for placements from the second year itself post completing their summer internship. There is a roll-on process so companies keep coming. The big 4 arrive early on campus.

We have a placement committee dedicated to the purpose of placement in our college. The student becomes eligible to sit for an internship by September of the year they join the college. There are a number of companies who visit our campus including the big 4 and other leading brands of the industry. In marketing highest package for an internship is 80K and for finals, it is around 20L. For finance highest package for an internship is 80K and for final placement it is 25L. 98% of students get on-campus placement. My plan after getting this degree is to grab a job from an on-campus placement drive.

There are a total of 6 trimesters in MBA, 3 in the first year and the remaining 3 in the second trimester. A student becomes eligible for college placements in the 4th trim, which is the beginning of the second year. Numerous companies visit the campus and there is 100% placement provided by the college. The highest packages go above 20 lakhs and the lowest around 8-9 lakhs. My plans after getting the degree are to get into the corporate world and climb the corporate ladder.

I am currently pursuing my course at KJ Somaiya College and I am very satisfied with the education I am receiving. The course curriculum is well-designed and up-to-date, covering all the important aspects of the subject. The faculty members are highly qualified and experienced and the faculty-student ratio is very favourable which gives students plenty of individual attention and support. The teaching method is very effective which makes it easy for students to understand and retain the concepts. The term exams are conducted promptly and are not overly difficult to pass. Overall, I would highly recommend this course and this college to anyone interested in this field.

From the fourth semester onwards students get eligible to sit for final placements as their summer internship gets over. Total of 132 recruiters visited the campus for 2022 placements. The average package is 12.28 LPA and the highest package is of 22.50 LPA. A wide variety of companies hire students of K J Somaiya. These range from top companies such as Nestle, and Salesforce to start-ups. K J is known for achieving 99% placement every year. I have also planned to take a decent placement from the campus only in the field of marketing and brand management.
