- The exam structure of the Himalayan Institute of Technology is very good because courses are conducted on a semester-wise basis in every semester.
- TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc. offer internship programs in our college, and many companies offer programs for student interns to receive a stipend from them.

Placement and training cell in HIT brings several opportunities for students. HIT conducts workshops and seminars to groom students for better placement. Every year all the students got placed with a high salary package. Some companies like TCS, Wipro, HCL visited the college for campus recruitment.

The college has successfully placed more than 70% of students with a minimum package of 3 lakh per annum to a maximum of 23 lakh per annum in most renowned companies.
