The admission process is very simplified, You have to get a score of at least 60 % in your undergraduate. You have to score 600+ in entrance exams such as MAT, CMAT, and many such examinations. The administration staff is very helpful in the admission process and will guide you in each step. If you are in OBC or SC/St category you might get a little exemption in fees as well as there being few reserved seats.
The eligibility of the course is to get 60% in the 10th and 12th standards. Under graduation, a student should complete his / her degree without any arrears with 50% while applying for the postgraduate degree. The application form will be available on the college website and the application fee is around Rs.1000. The admission process is good and the faculty make sure that the question is based on GK and the specialization of his / her under graduation program.
The admission process had GD and PI and the written test. Eligibility criteria were having 70% all around the studies till graduation. the first round was held for GD after which it had two rounds of PI. The last round consisted of PI with the Dean of the college.
I had applied for St Joseph, Christ University, and Jain University. My reason for choosing Jain university over others was mainly on the placement opportunities and the course of international finance and accounting. The basic mark required to do your PG is 50% in your UG. After I got selected through MAT into Jain university I had an interview conducted online because of Covid and got selected.
Being in Bangalore for all my life, Jain University has been a familiar name from my high school. It is one of the top institutions in Karnataka. Jain Deemed-to-be-University has its own brand identity of being the best in the crowd of B Schools across the country. So when it came to choosing a college to do PG I had only Jain University in my mind.
The college is an overall good college with good faculty and good extra curriculars, it also has really good placements and it has a good ranking, it's also convenient for me as it's in the city I already live in so I think it's a good choice
I opted this course for my future so that I can work in a company and earn money. This institution was suggested by my friend and later I made a lot of research about this on internet. Good fame, quality education, better placement oppurtunites, quick learning are the factors for choosing the institution. Initially I applied for the college through online. Later I visited the campus and gave the interview, followed by a test and finally the selection list was uploaded.
I was in Jain University CMS prior to this and hence decided to continue with the same institution. Also I decided to stay in the same city as my CAT percentile wasn't great but I didn't want to waste a year and this college was at par with any MBA COLLEGE. Also, the orientation programme was in Singapore all expenses paid, which raised an eyebrow.
The admission process to the college begins by December of the prior academic year, the application form will be issued online on the college website the candidates have to fill in their details and pay an admission fee online. Later an email will be sent to the applicant along with the hall ticket and date of the interview process on that date the applicant has to carry a set of his or her resume and certificates and appear for the interview process. On the same day, the applicant will have an entrance exam.
