About SSITS
Sir Syed Institute for Technical Studies (SSITS) is self-financing college and started functioning in October 2002. It is just 23 kms away from kannur railway station and 22.1 kms away from kannur bus stand Jumamasjidh. It is affiliated to Kannur University. The Institute is in pursuit of excellence and provides quality education. The faculty of institute is dedicated, well qualified and experience in their field of education. The Tutorial sytem is implemented to motivate the students for better academic excellence. The institute has all facilities like hostel accommodation for both boys and girls, prayer halls for men and women, library, separate canteen, Full Fledged Laboratory and Transport facility.
The institute organizes extra-curricular activities especially in sports and games to enhance the student’s overall personality. The placement cell provides guidance to the student’s for their final interview. The main aim of institute is to provide education to the muslim minority in particular and rural and backward public of kannur and kasargod district. It provides quality education to all irrespective of cast, creed and religion.

The admission process is very simple. The eligibility required is 12th graduate and application form will receive from the office itself. No additional exam is required to write. The college has good faculty and its students friendly

The admission process to Sir syed Institute for technical studies was pretty hard. Most students got in using management quota as you need really good grades to get through merit. One can also get through sports quota if he/she has previous victories in sports and should also submit certificates for the same.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Physics is my favourite subject. And my college helped me in increasing my knowledge in physics. All the facilities are assistant professors. But their knowledge in the subject and ability to teach is really appreciated. Syllabus for the semester is usually covered by the semester end exam. Our department has 1 faculty for 4 students.

Everyone will love our college. It is beautiful and happy to be there as a student hoping a bright future.

I think some ragging problems should be stopped in the college. And political freedom is limited to a particular group it should be changed

3 years degree course with a yearly exam. In this course, you have to attend different face interviews, case study classes and seminars since its a management course you have the option for learning different management terms and aspects required for getting a job in MNC.

There are many positive things about my college which includes good infrastructure, good faculties, facilities which includes canteen, prayer hall for both men and women, toilet, washouroom, water cooler. The only negative remark is our seniors. Which gives us bad experience.

The new principal likes a school teacher. He changed some rules. Next batch students uniform, I hate uniform reform. He put so many students in silly problems. Finally, he made our college like school
