- MHT CET 2024 Round 2 Allotment List has been released on August 26 @cetcell.mahacet.org for B.Tech courses at Tulsiramji GaikwadPatil College of Engineering and Technology.Candidates can accept and report to their allotted colleges between Aug 27 - 29. Meanwhile the Round 3 Allotment List is expected on September 05
- Online Submission & Confirmation of Option Form of CAP Round-III is ongoing from August 27 - 29. The CAP Round 3 Allotment List will be released on August 31 @cetcell.mahacet.org. Selected candidates can accept and report to the institutes between September 01 - 03.
Walchand Institute of Technology (WIT), Solapur was established in 1983. It is affiliated to Solapur University and approved by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra. WIT offers four-year B. Tech and two-year M. E courses in different streams.
- For B. Tech course, the candidates should have passed 10+2 with minimum 50% marks from a recognized board.
- Admission will be granted on the basis of MHT-CET conducted by DTE, Maharashtra.
- The M.E course demands minimum 50% marks in the relevant subject in the Bachelor’s degree.
- A valid GATE score is necessary for admission in M. E course.
- Diploma holders can directly apply to the B. Tech second year (Lateral Entry).

The candidates looking for admission can apply by following the given steps:
- It is mandatory for all the aspiring candidates to register Online for the following categories:
- All category CAPseats
- Institutional Quotaseats
- Vacant seats after completion of CAProunds
- After applying online on DTE website, a candidate has to take aprintout of the duly filled application form along with all the required original documents and report to any convenient Facilitation Center in person for the further document verification process:
- The Facilitation Centre In-charge will verify the information from the original copies of required documents and collect the duly signedapplication.
- The Facilitation Centre In-charge will also confirm the candidate’s Application Form through theonline system and issue the Receipt cum Acknowledgement of ApplicationForm.
- Provisional Merit List of the eligible candidates will be displayed on the DTE website.
- After thedisplay of final Merit List, the competent authority will display the availableCategory-wise Seats (Seat Matrix) for the CAP Round-I.
- The candidate has to fill the Online Option Form with preferences of courses and Institutions before the CAP Round. Candidates may fill minimum 1 & maximum 300 choices of Institutes and courses in decreasing order of their preference. The Option Form once confirmed by the candidate through their login will be considered for allotment in CAP Round I, II and III.
- The order of preference of options will be as per the serial number of options.
- Reporting and confirmation of admission- After final CAP Round, the Candidate shall report to the institution finally allotted to him and confirm his/her admission in the institution.

Addmission process was offline for the 1st year but form second year it is done online all process done through college's website and cutt off were bit high because all courses are filled. That's why cutt offs are high.

- Some of the faculties do not make proper use of technology and no proper internships are provided

Eligibility of the course totally depends upon your MHT-CET score and it is done through the regular practice of CAP rounds. All details regarding this are available on the college's website. There were regular practice exams conducted every month and it was moderate level difficult.

In this college first of all this college is in minority for jain students they get easily this college but who students are not in jain catagory they have lot of cut of CET . And campus is good I will give 9/10 rating for campus but I don't know about placements.

I get through mhtcet exam and score 80 percentile and applied for this course . The application form,fees,dates depends on that particular college you are applying. Yes you gets the all the reservation benifits depends on which category you belong too. Provide the online admission process so the long distanced students get the benifit of it

The admission process was held by MHTCET and there were 3 cap rounds in which we had to fill our choices and after that according to cut off we were assigned a college. It was centralized process . So you should have a counsellor for your form filling

MhCET and JEE are accepted here nearly 90 percentile is a cutoff of MHCET here for branch CSE and reservation are also here. Fee of CSE is appox 115000 without scollership and it will reduces to 50% after application of scollership

As usual Admission process is same just like other colleges but in this college they give information step by step about how to admission in college , what are the consequences and benefits of this colleges that are personally I liked about this college . Eligibility of the course is just like if you score 70or above 70 percentage in MHT-CET or jee then you are eligible for this college . There are some seats are reserved for JAIN students . Our exam timing is 10 am to 1 pm . so , about 3 hrs time take our exam .

Admission:
In my case , I was selected in this college in CSE department because I have good marks in JEE MAINS. Normally students which are come here is from giving CET EXAM. I don't think that entrance exam system is available in this college
