Being the vast branch and further can choose the sector of my choice is the basic reason. 1 Faculty per 30 students would be good to say with 3 branches and about 25-30 faculty members. Faculty of THERMODYNAMICS has a Ph.D. sir and for maths a Mtech IITian giving their best till now. Termly exams are of 100 marks which we were very new to. Coping up with the same.
Playing with the machine, repairing household machines is my passion so that's why I took a mechanical engineering course in graduate studies. Most of the professors are already completed their PhD from various reputed Institute in India and across the globe too, The method adopted by most of the professors are by using blackboard method and also by a smart board. The term exam in per semester about 4 and a half month from the start of the semester and it is not that much hard to pass them.
The course curriculum is followed according to AICTE guidelines and also useful for Gate preparation. Most of the professors have their master's degree and few are doctorate too. As I'm in 3rd year I came across about 25 professors. There are SmartBoard for teaching is also available.
The course curriculum is updated as per recent industrial and research trend unlike Mumbai University which teaches very old syallabus. Some subjects are even useful for further Higher studies. Academics are pretty high level. Faculties are good. Most of them are PhDs
Feasible, one of the cheapest college in the country. 60000 is the cheapest of all. People pay 150000 for the same course which are not good. This is government autonomous institute so it is very affordable.
The fee structure is quite feasible. Since, my college is government aided autonomous college, our fee was almost half of the ones who had joined private colleges affiliated with Mumbai University. I was from General Open Category and this was the case, but for other castes the fee was much lesser. It was typical of how SPCE supported the backward classes in terms of fee as well.
Government institute have 50% less fees than other colleges. It is feasible and you save a lot. I don’t think there is much to explain in the fee structure but normally engineering fees goes to 1.5 lac per anum. This will be half of it.
In year 2016 fees for first year open category students were 70,000. For castes fees is less. It is feasible for all.It remains same for all 4 years. Fee includes tuition fees, development fees. Total fees include library fee, internet facility fees, ghymkhana fees, and form fee.
