Cons: 1.It fails to provide the practical experience for the students to face the challenges outside the college environment. 2.It mainly focuses on the academic performance of the students thus providing a school environment inside the college atmosphere.

Saranathan College of Engineering comes under Tamil Nadu.So no need of any entrance examination. Higher secondary board examination score and cut off as Anna university is required to join. I secured 187.5 in my +2 board and chose a B.E EEE seat in Anna University Counselling for 2010-2014.
