Remarks :
The college has high level expertise and the coaching is great.Help is provided financially by the college for needy students.The college also helps students in exhibiting their project ideas in a industrial level helping them to secure patents for their innovations.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course comes under Anna university. It handles Bachelor of engineering with mechanical,electrical,civil,IT,CSE,electronics and communication branches along with MBA course in the campus.Industrial visits are conducted for two times a year one near the campus within city limits and other outside the state.
Placement Experience :
Nearly 52 companies conduct placement drives in our college.Placement training is given.The eligible students are shortlisted based on academic performances.Internships are also announced in the college and the students can take part in it.70%of students get placed in the drives whereas some students opt for off-campus drives.
College Events :
The college conducts numerous events like Sara Trophy,Saral,Womenia,Lakshaya.Each event is celebrated in a grand way.Lakshaya is the only event which invites students from other colleges as it is a management event.The convocation day is held once in two years and the students completed degree gets convocated.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
No additional fee is required to secure a admission it is based on the number of available seats in the college.There is aa printed online bill for every transaction done in the college.Book fee,Exam fee are collected separately.All transactions are online.Placement training fee is also collected separately.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The scholarship is provided by anna university and not by the college.Anna univeristy provides scholarships for students with merit.The scholarship amount is 4500 per semester.Fhe eligibilty criteria for availing scholarship is to pass with a good mark in higher secondary and then the parents of the students must not have a governmnet job.
Campus Life :
The campus life pretty normal classes start at 9.15 sharp with two recess time morning and afternoon and a lunch time in between these. 8 periods are conducted with the changing of subjects making it interesting with labs and computer aided learning.There is generally no indiscrimination of any category.The boys outnumber the girls in Mechanical and civil.Where as it is mostly equal in other departments.Only diversity in the campus is the departments.And the boys to girls ratio is 3:1.
Hostel Facilities :
I have not opted for hostel as I am near to the college but the hostel is somewhat good for a vegeterian guy.It does not serve non-veg as it is a Hindu based college.The girls hostel is located 5kms from the college for some safety reasons.The food is little good.
Alumni/Alumna :
The alumni of the college visit after a brief time of college completion they help us in our projects,explain us about the situation in every industry.The alumni also help us in getting placed in their companies through their reference.
Admission :
I got an admission by management quota.The admission starts up on the day when the Higher secondary results are announced by the Tamilnadu State board of education.60 students are taken as managemnet quota for each department.The next 60 are taken by Counselling.
Faculty :
The faculty are mostly doctorates with three professors in each department and the associate professors.The college takes up university rank holding students interested in teaching and some of them offer best advices and knowledge in the subject.Staffs from NIT's are invited for a guest lecture.
