In order to make us self dependent they first give us assignments to prepare the topic and make ppts and then they explain which makes the things more clear and enhances fast learning. I personally like this approach of teaching because it augments our research skills and learning power.

I won't say the faculty is great and knows everything about the subject. But they have knowledge required just to ensure we get the things in the curriculum. If student brings out of syllabus doubt then it becomes difficult for faculty to address it.
