Lakshmi Narain College of Technology (LNCT) offers a number of courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology, as well as Diploma courses. Admissions currently operates in 13 different departments. Admission to the courses offered at this college are conducted on the basis of both Entrance and Merit.

- Admission to BE is on the basis of scores in JEE Main along with scores in 10+2 in PCM.
- M.Tech admissions are based on scores in GATE and BE/B.Tech degree.
- Diploma admissions are merit based, that is scores obtained in +2.
- Counselling for all the courses offered at LNCT is conducted by DTE MP Counselling.
LNCT was established in 1993 in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. It is one the most prestigious Engineering colleges in the state. The college is affiliated to Rajiv Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), Bhopal.
LNCT is the first self financed college in MP, with an ISO 9001:2000 certification for the same. The BE courses in four disciplines have been provisionally accredited by the NBA.

Selection Criteria
Selection to this course is conducted on the basis of the candidate’s score in the JEE Main examination. Allocation of seats for this course is as follows:
- 75% of the total seats are reserved under State Quota for students who are residents of the state of MP.
- 10% of seats are offered to students under All India Quota. Admission is conducted on the basis of the JEE Main examination.
- 15% of the seats are reserved for candidates under the Management Quota. Admission for this quota is conducted on the basis of the JEE Main examination.
