The placement cell of this college is pretty average i would say the in campus ration is not so good enough for the students like the average packgae here is somewhere around 3 - 4 lakh/annum so some sort of students are placed at good places like google big car brands company

A glace of Govind Ballabh Pant Institute of Engineering and Technology

when I was in the final year of my B.Tech only 2 company came to our college for placement like L&T and BEL also I passed out in 2023 so that was the peak of job market recession, so in L&T they took aptitute exam for the student then they said we are not hiring any more. BEL has offered 8 student from our college with the package of 11LPA.

Dislikes

Sometimes very good company do not prefer to come due to very cold conditions of weather.

From the 6 or 7 semester student become eligible for sitting in placement cell. Many companies from the world come such as tnp, TATA, GOOGLE, rapture biotech etc . The highest package of 10lakh. 40 to 45 percent of students get placement. My plans after getting my degree is to go for high studies in my field of research and scientists.

Students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester of Btech course. Companies like BigOH, GrowUp, L&T, Rubico, QI Technologies, Mahindra, BEL, etc. visit the campus for on-campus placements and the no. of placements in the year 2023-24 was 113. The placement details are given in the official website of the college. The highest package offered was 12 LPA by BEL and the lowest was 3 LPA. Most of the students go for GATE and don't sit for campus placements. I would go for GATE for higher studies.

I had an incredible experiences at gbpec.

: 6 semester completed students become eligible for campus placement : Ola, Zomato etc companies visited in this College and they made no offers. : The highest package is around 700000 and the average package around is 450000. : Students above 7.5 cgpa or above 75 percentage getting placement. :my plans after the degree best placement otherwise good government job.

No options for better placements as college is situated in hilly region so average package goes upto 600000

Campus placement is average in this college as it is situated in hilly region so many companies ct explore here. On campus placement package ranges upto 6 lac per year. From 7th semester students get eligible for placement. Maximum placement ranges from 9-10 lac per year and average ranges upto 6 lac. I will opt for post- graduation after my graduation and not such plans for placement.

Placements are good for mechanical department here, their branch faculties put efforts for their students to bring good companies here. From the 6th semester the students become eligible for the campus placement. Google visited here in 2022 but no students could solve their problems so they no offered made to any students. In 2022 from ECE branch a student got 97lpa in amazon and per year for the student profiles who had skills in programming , web development like skills having internship in PSU's or in IIT's get 12 lpa but the average salary is for the students is 4lpa. 60% students are mostly placed from each branch per year. I have to clear gate for my upcoming carrier so I can persue M.tech in vlsi or I can get job in any PSU.

Placements are offered here on campus by some of reputed companies like Bel,Wipro,Tcs and government department like Bhel, Thdc etc. The highest on campus placement is ?100000 from electronics and communication engineering and electrical engineering and computer science engineering branches

Placement have been good till year 2022 but came to declining due to college conflict on its autonomous status but still managed to scrap up placements with average of 4 LPA and higher up to 12 LPA whereas our passout seniors have cracked off campus placement for higher lpas or opted for higher education.
