Government Tool Room Training Centre (GT&TC), Bangalore was established in 1972 with the participation of the Karnataka State Government, in collaboration with the Government of Denmark under the Bilateral Development Co-operation Agreement. The college is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU). It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (A.I.C.T.E). The College offers a Bachelor of Engineering in Tool Engineering and Precision Manufacturing and an M. Tech in Tool Engineering.
It is an autonomous society. GT&TC is now adding new technologies like CAD / CAM, CNC machines for tooling, Precision Components, Laser for Industries, Rapid prototyping, vacuum casting, etc. The College offers final placements to students in various slots. The placement cell timely organizes aptitude skill tests, General orientation programs group discussions, etc. to improve the student skills and prepare them for the final interview. The main objective of the institute is to improve efficiency, innovate processes, and adopt technologies that meet the all requirements of the stakeholders.

It will be on merit roll on Caste wise there will be allotted seats with respective on there percentage in SSLC. There will be no reserved seats because it Is a government based college. No, It's all good everything is there in the admission process.
Ayuda pooja is the only one event celebrated in our college. They don't give importance to event this is one bad remark and teacher are more supportive for bucket student. They will support them if they do any mischief.
There's all type of machines used to teach by the lectures and you'll learn how to operate each n every machines. It is (3+1) 4year course total of 6 Semesters. Each sem there'll be 1 practical exam and Semester exams. After completion of 3 years there'll be 1 year of training and you can earn salary while you were training. The job placement will be done by the side of institution.
The college area is situated in industrial area so there is noisy from which we can't focus on stidy. There are rarely used instruments in college they had to change the instruments once in two year.
A good place to learn about machines and instruments a very good experience at my college it is fun and enjoyable as practical work being of more importance less theory subjects and good friends who are all in touch.
The course curriculum is very good with all the basic and some out of the box topics. I would rate the course by 9 out of 10. The course included all the academic syllabus with addition of software training and industrial visits. It also included extra curricular activities such as dance programs, cultural activities and exposure to projects.
College management is quite good in all the sectors present with the small team available but there is lot of opportunity for improvement. the college environment is more like a factory than a college which lack that feeling a student needs during that pa
