Gaya College of Engineering has 5 departments to offer 4 specializations in B.Tech/B.E. program with an intake capacity of 60 students in each department. Admission to the courses is based on the merit of the Entrance Examination conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. The same exam is applicable for B.Tech Lateral admission.
As all the Engineering Colleges in India conduct a proper admission procedure following particular counseling sessions, Gaya College of Engineering does the same for the respective courses.
- For the B.Tech program, candidates must have appeared in the first stage of the admission process, the screening test.
- Candidates ought to appear in the Entrance Exam JEE Main.
- Admission will be provided after the counseling session.
- For lateral entry, candidates are required to have a Diploma in Engineering/B.Sc. following merit-list of BCECE (LE).
Located in Gaya, Bihar, the college is affiliated to Aryabhatta Knowledge University in Patna. The former name of the college was Magadh Engineering College. However, it got its name Gaya College of Engineering in the year 2008. All the courses of Gaya College of Engineering are AICTE approved.

Eligibility
As the admission is based on merit on BCECE, the Eligibility to appear in BCECE is:
- Candidates must have qualified 10+2 level examination or its equivalent.
- 12th appearing students can also apply to the programs.
Selection Criteria
- The selection of B.Tech programs will be purely based on merit held by a candidate in Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Exams conducted by BCECEB.
- Appearing in Screening, Main Examination along with Counseling is compulsory.
- Promotional admission can be canceled if 10+2 qualified documents will not be provided in the institute at the time of counseling.
How to Apply for Gaya College of Engineering 2023
For applying to B.Tech programs in Gaya College of Engineering, students have to qualify the Entrance Exam conducted by BCECEB. Application forms for BCECE are available from February 20. A single application is applied for different courses.
- To fill the application form, candidates can go to the official website of BCECEB and click on Apply for BCECE-2021.
- On the login page, click on New Registration and open the registration form.
- Select the course group and fill further information carefully.
- After filling personal details, click on the Sign-Up button.
- You will receive an Activation Code/OTP on your registered email a mobile number.
- Activate your account and move to the applicant login.
- Provide your personal details on the applicant form.
- Upload the photo and signature.
- Provide your educational information.
- Take a preview of the application form BCECE-2021, and check carefully.
- Pay the application fee through an online paying method.
- Submit the form and take out the hard copy of the application form.
Documents required:
- Scanned passport size color photo in JPEG format sized up to 100KB.
- Scanned copy of signature using a black or blue pen in Hindi and English.
- A valid email and a valid mobile number.
- Online payment facilities such as Net Banking, Credit Card, or ATM-cum-Debit Card.
For Applying to the B.Tech Lateral Program, candidates have to apply for BCECE (LE) following the same procedure.
Gaya College of Engineering Scholarship 2023
Gaya College of Engineering provides scholarships to all the students under the Government of Bihar Scheduled Caste & Scheduled Tribe Welfare Department. The college offers full-time study scholarships to Indian Residents only. Scholarships can vary based on different criteria of student's eligibility.
Eligibility for Scholarship:
- Applicants must be Indian residents.
- Applicants must have qualified the Entrance Exam with high scoring.
- Candidates must have a bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate marks from recognized University.
- 5% of concession will be provided to SC/ST students.

Admission:
You can come here by qualifying jee mains or BCECE. You have to present physically for admission process in the college. If you are from Bihar then you also enjoy reservation. I find the application form from BCECE portal

for eligibility of the course you have to score more that 75%ile in jee mains and there is another exam to take admission which is bcece you have fill the form of ugeac which is available online for almost 1 month you will get reservation benifits if your are sc/st or obc otherwise you can also take seats through general category you can fill this form once a year i didn't like that there are two different exmas to take admissions because one is relatively always easy and one is hard which is not fair

The eligibility of course is you should give jee mains exams The application form available on bcece website and form is about 1200 and application is available in June Reservation is also available Exam are held 4 time in year

- Infrastructure of college is good and are based on modern techniques

- Only hostels and clg are in whole campus except it nothing
- Semester exams are not on time it takes 2-3 month extra

Admission process includes first of all you have to register for ugeac counselling and there you get a rank card according to which you can do counselling in colleges and get a seat in it reservation benefit is also there

- Some teachers are not as much supportive.
- There is a very big issue of mobile networks.
Admission:
Firstly, you have to pass your 12th board with good marks with PCM. Then you have to give JEE Mains exam and after result you will get a rank . After that, on the basis of your JEE Mains result, you can go to counselling through BCECE UGEAC and after all process you will get best college at your rank.

Admission:
First of all you have to pass 12th board with good percentage with PCM . Then you have to give JEE MAINS exam after the final result of jee mains , you have to go for counseling through BCECE UGEAC for admission in any colleges of Bihar Engineering. Then after all process you get admission in any college of Bihar , it may be this college. There are reservation benifits also , you can see this in cutoff. As I came under BC category and my jee mains percentile was 88 so after counseling I get this college.

- They have to improve their placement cell
- College Location is little far from main town Gaya

To get admission in Gaya College of Engineering in B.Tech course you have to appear in JEE Main exam and then appear in BCECE UGEAC Counseling to get admission in this college. To get in this college you must have domicile of Bihar and there is different reservation quota like OBC, EWS, SC, ST and Girls reservation quota.

It takes entrance exam to take admission in the college. Students should eligible for to quantify the exam.it has it own council process for the admission in the college. There is a reservation for bihar domicile, it is only for bihar students.it is good process to took admission.

In 2017 admission in engineering through the BCECE exam conducted by the state, the exam was held in three subjects physics, chemistry & Math all contain 100 questions for 400marks. but now admission is going through Jeemains.
