Gaya College of Engineering has 5 departments to offer 4 specializations in B.Tech/B.E. program with an intake capacity of 60 students in each department. Admission to the courses is based on the merit of the Entrance Examination conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. The same exam is applicable for B.Tech Lateral admission.

As all the Engineering Colleges in India conduct a proper admission procedure following particular counseling sessions, Gaya College of Engineering does the same for the respective courses.

For the B.Tech program, candidates must have appeared in the first stage of the admission process, the screening test.
Candidates ought to appear in the Entrance Exam JEE Main.
Admission will be provided after the counseling session.
For lateral entry, candidates are required to have a Diploma in Engineering/B.Sc. following merit-list of BCECE (LE).

Eligibility

As the admission is based on merit on BCECE, the Eligibility to appear in BCECE is:

Candidates must have qualified 10+2 level examination or its equivalent.
12th appearing students can also apply to the programs.

Selection Criteria

The selection of B.Tech programs will be purely based on merit held by a candidate in Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Exams conducted by BCECEB.
Appearing in Screening, Main Examination along with Counseling is compulsory.
Promotional admission can be canceled if 10+2 qualified documents will not be provided in the institute at the time of counseling.

How to Apply for Gaya College of Engineering 2023

For applying to B.Tech programs in Gaya College of Engineering, students have to qualify the Entrance Exam conducted by BCECEB. Application forms for BCECE are available from February 20. A single application is applied for different courses.

To fill the application form, candidates can go to the official website of BCECEB and click on Apply for BCECE-2021.
On the login page, click on New Registration and open the registration form.
Select the course group and fill further information carefully.
After filling personal details, click on the Sign-Up button.
You will receive an Activation Code/OTP on your registered email a mobile number.
Activate your account and move to the applicant login.
Provide your personal details on the applicant form.
Upload the photo and signature.
Provide your educational information.
Take a preview of the application form BCECE-2021, and check carefully.
Pay the application fee through an online paying method.
Submit the form and take out the hard copy of the application form.

Documents required:

Scanned passport size color photo in JPEG format sized up to 100KB.
Scanned copy of signature using a black or blue pen in Hindi and English.
A valid email and a valid mobile number.
Online payment facilities such as Net Banking, Credit Card, or ATM-cum-Debit Card.

For Applying to the B.Tech Lateral Program, candidates have to apply for BCECE (LE) following the same procedure.

Gaya College of Engineering Scholarship 2023

Gaya College of Engineering provides scholarships to all the students under the Government of Bihar Scheduled Caste & Scheduled Tribe Welfare Department. The college offers full-time study scholarships to Indian Residents only. Scholarships can vary based on different criteria of student's eligibility.

Eligibility for Scholarship:

Applicants must be Indian residents.
Applicants must have qualified the Entrance Exam with high scoring.

In this college attendence process is good. 75 percentage attendance is compulsory for giving exam.
Teaching style of professors is awesome.

Dislikes

Facilities of road is not good.,in rainy season very difficult for going academic building.
Extra activities are not so good like that fest tech fest etc.

I applied many college like Mit Muzaffarpur,Bce Bhagalpur,Bce Bakhtiyarpur,Gce Gaya ,Nce Chandi etc. I got admission in GCE ,GAYA according my percentile and rank.In top 5 Bihar Government Engineering College GCE GAYA is one of them.

Our college has one of the biggest campus among all the government engineering colleges in bihar. Overall infrastructure of this college is very good . There are 5 hostels in which two hostel are for girls and three hostel for boys
Many sport activities and educational quizzes are held.

Dislikes

Locality of our college is not good it is located in a jungle like place.Not safe for travelling in any case after 10 pm or 6pm for girls
Placements are average. Many students got 20 lakhs plus package in off campus placement.

Admission:

It is the one of the best government engineering colleges of bihar which has EEE(Electrical and Electronics Engineering). Campus is very big. I have also applied for banaras hindu university and I also get selected there but I got b.sc in banaras hindu university so I prefer BTech above bsc. For taking admission in this college, student should be appear in JEE mains or bcece and score good marks. Jee mains score and bcece score is valid for admission.

Admission:

After not getting into nit or iit, I applied for beu. The top 3 colleges include Mit Muzaffarpur, bhagalpur college of engineering and gce gaya, I was expecting to get admission in either of these 3 colleges. I got gce in my first counselling. So there was no problem for me taking admission. Once you get the college, document verification is done by the college before giving admission. Most preferred course are cse and civil with cutoffs anove 80 Cse - 87 percentile and above Civil - 80 percentile and above Mechanical- 60 percentile and above Eee - 50 percentile and above

The thing I dislike first event is not organised
The food of our hostel is not good it's not more tasty

I apply on two other colleges and then apply on this college and I will not apply on another college because it is good college from other colleges it's placement is good and almost students have campus placement

Here civil engineering is the one of the best branch.

Dislikes

This college lack of extracurricular activities like games , cultural program.
So, this college is in remote area that's why you also not get exposure you want.

Admission:

You can come here by qualifying jee mains or BCECE. You have to present physically for admission process in the college. If you are from Bihar then you also enjoy reservation. I find the application form from BCECE portal

market place is very far away from campus
there are power cuts happening all the time

Admission:

for eligibility of the course you have to score more that 75%ile in jee mains and there is another exam to take admission which is bcece you have fill the form of ugeac which is available online for almost 1 month you will get reservation benifits if your are sc/st or obc otherwise you can also take seats through general category you can fill this form once a year i didn't like that there are two different exmas to take admissions because one is relatively always easy and one is hard which is not fair

Some teachers are not as much supportive.
There is a very big issue of mobile networks.

Admission:

Firstly, you have to pass your 12th board with good marks with PCM. Then you have to give JEE Mains exam and after result you will get a rank . After that, on the basis of your JEE Mains result, you can go to counselling through BCECE UGEAC and after all process you will get best college at your rank.

Some professor are not as much supportive than others

Admission:

First of all you have to pass 12th board with good percentage with PCM . Then you have to give JEE MAINS exam after the final result of jee mains , you have to go for counseling through BCECE UGEAC for admission in any colleges of Bihar Engineering. Then after all process you get admission in any college of Bihar , it may be this college. There are reservation benifits also , you can see this in cutoff. As I came under BC category and my jee mains percentile was 88 so after counseling I get this college.
