About GIET
Gandhi Institute for Education and Technology (GIET), Bhubaneshwar was started by Gandhi Group of Institutions in 2009. Gandhi Group of Institutions was founded by Dr. S.P. Panda in 1997 and is now the biggest group of engineering colleges in Eastern India. It offers 7 UG, 4 PG & 3 Diploma courses with a combined strength of 1800 students of which one third are girls.

There is no problem in college admission, you have to directly contact Geeta and he will tell you the whole process The fee structure in this college is like this, per year it is 129000 and for 4 years it is around 5 lakh 16 thousand What I liked about this college is that it provides such good education in low fees and also provides hostel accommodation and food facilities, but there is also good scope for sports here, all the faculty teachers of this college

- One thing I liked was that along with studying at a lower fee, students are also getting the facility of staying in a hostel and eating food.

- We can't expect anything good in terms of studies here

The eligibility for this course is that you should have passed 12th, after that you can take admission in this college through JEE Mains or OJEE exam. After getting the contact number of the college from somewhere You can talk to sir on call in college or office. Then he will tell you the whole process of admission.

I joined through jee entrance exam score. I found application site from jee website itself. This college is approved by AICTE so all exam are conducted by bput.and exams are conducted in a 90 days studying period.

- placement is very poor, the placement cell is not working properly
- college infrastructure is not good for a course like engineering

i had given jee-mains and got admission through that, the cutoff was upto rank 400000, you have to wait for the BPUT entrance option for JEE-MAINS then we have to apply for selection process. there are more than 3 rounds of admissions depends on the availability of seats

First You Have to Clear The JEE Examination with Good Percentile. After That We have to Come in Contact with the GIET Website and Apply For Prospective Branch Sit Reservation. The Minimum Percentile Required Is 70 Percentile.

The college offers Diploma courses in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Electrical Engineering for a duration period of three years. Intake capacity for Mechanical Engineering is 120 whereas for Civil Engineering and Electrical Engineering are 60 seats respectively.
Candidates who have studied and passed 10 level or 10+2 level are eligible to take admission in Diploma. However, the candidates need to appear in Diploma Entrance Test (DET) conducted by State Government of Odisha.
