DIET Meerut Application Process 2025

Students can apply to the Delhi Institute of Engineering and Technology through entrance exams like JEE MAIN, CUET UG, JEECUP, or direct admission under management quota.

To get into B. Tech program, students must qualify either JEE Main or CUET UG, followed by counselling through UPTAC. The process begins with online registration, the fee for which is INR20,000 and INR12,000 for General category and SC/ST category students, respectively. After registration, students undergo document verification.

The required documents are:

1. CUET UG Admit Card & Rank Card
2. Class XII Certificate + Marksheet
3. Rural weightage certificate (if applicable)
4. Domicile Certificate
5. Domicile certificate of parents (if the candidate passed the qualifying exam outside UP)
6. Character certificate
7. Certificate of medical fitness
8. Category certificate
9. Subcategory certificate for Freedom fighters/Armed forces/ Physically handicapped, as applicable
10. Income certificate for economically weak candidates
11. GDDA category certificate, if applicable

Failure to produce any document will result in the cancellation of admission. After verification, students can fill in their choices for seat allotment.

Admission to the Polytechnic course is done through seat allocation based on rank in JEECUP. The candidate must be at least 14 years old. Priority is given to:

1. Passed the qualifying exam from an institute in Uttar Pradesh
2. Parents of candidates are domiciled in UP
3. Parent(s) employed by the Central Government and currently posted in Uttar Pradesh.

The following documents are required for the verification process-

1. B.T.E Rank Card (if through B.T.E)
2. B.T.E Seat Allotment Letter (if through B.T.E)
3. High School Marksheet and Certificate
4. Income Certificate (if scholarship required)
5. Character certificate
6. Affidavit (if gap in studies)
7. Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC)
8. Migration/TC
9. 8 coloured passport-size photos
10. Domicile certificate

If seats remain vacant, out-of-state and foreign candidates may be considered.
