The first eligible of the course is to have a good cut off in the 12 standard. We can directly contact the admission committee in the college, they would give the best guidance for the admission. The area that the students need to develop is to mainly focus on aptitude and speaking skills. It the most important for an engineering student. The college shall announce as a public news for the admission in the college.

Admission process was smooth, I came to this Tamil Nadu engineering councelling. My cutoff is 186.5 out of 200. The college also conducts many scholarship exams which will deduct our fees. There are also entrance exams which help the students to join the college. Application form can be found in the college's official website. The college did many things to the people who are in poverty, many students need not to pay fees to the college because of their high cutoff in their higher secondary. The college conducts admission exams in the time of May and June where students can enroll through online and attend the test. There are a few areas for improvement in admission like, there are a lots of needed to be done by the students who came through councelling. I would recommend to reduce the work not more than that. And everything is fine.

I applied to my college through TNEA. I got a cutoff of 190 marks in my 12th board exam. I later applied to Chennai institute of technology (CIT) through TNEA counseling and was able to pursue Bachelor's in Artificial intelligence and data science. Then I went to CIT to visit the campus and get the admission form and got to know about the fees structure. I didn't face any problem during my admission process.

The students must have a minimum cut off of 190 and above for the course of computer science and engineering. The application form can be found in the official college website and students can apply it online. Students must register beforehand for the entrance examination within the specified dates. The application fee is 150/- in order to register for the admission which includes an entrance examination conducted for the students. The examination consists of 3 rounds which includes aptitude round, discussion and the final personal interview round. The students are solely selected on the basis of their performance in the 3 rounds and exam takes place for about 3 hours. Rather than having a fixed mode of payment in the admission process all modes of payment can be accepted for a more easier completion of process.

My experience with CIT was marked by a straightforward admission process, devoid of entrance exam, which i found highly convenient. The college's emphasis on academic performance, reflected in the cutoff requirement of 145(in 2020) ensured a streamlined application process.

After the board exams, I started my search for a good college, and that is when I heard about Chennai Institute Of Technology. One day I visited the college with my parent. The faculties, staff, and management were so friendly and guided us throughout the campus. The labs were innovative and very interactive. When I inquired about the admission process, they handed me over an admission form to fill out and explained the admission procedures. I had secured a solid 450/500. The cut-off for e-ECE engineering was about 185 and I had 183. The college gave me a fee concession for my cutoff after providing a caste certificate.
