Candidates can exercise their choices between Aug 21 - Sept 03, and the last date to pay the fees is Sept 04. Candidates can download their admission orders and report to their allotted institutes by Sept 05
- COMEDK 2024 Round 3 Seat Cancellation can be done between Sep 01 - 03, whereas the choices can be edited between Sep 04 - 06 on the officical website @comedk.org. The Round 3 Seat Allotment Result, Decision Making anf Fee Payment will be done between Sep 12 - 14.
- For B.Tech Lateral Entry admissions have been concluded.based on Karnataka DCET Scores
- Karnataka PGCET 2024 revised exam dates for M.Tech will be released soon. Meanwhile, MBA/ MCA exam has concluded successfully on August 4 and the final answer key was published on August 16.
BLDEA's V.P. Dr. P.G. Halakatti College of Engineering and Technology (DPGHCET) is a prestigious educational institution located in Vijaypur, Northern part of Karnataka. The institute imparts quality education in the field of technology and management. It was established in 1980 and is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum.
The college currently offers eight undergraduate programs in engineering and architecture with an intake capacity of 750 students. It also offers seven M. Tech programs with an intake of 126 seats and a MBA and MCA program with the intake of 60 seats for each course.

Dr. P.G. Halakatti College of Engineering and Technology offers undergraduate level engineering courses in up to eight disciplines. Selection of candidates is done on the basis of marks obtained in Karnataka CET and counselling conducted by DTE Karnataka.

The college offers seven M.Tech courses, MBA and MCA programs. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to these programs is graduation in the relevant or allied discipline with minimum 50% marks.
Candidates seeking admission to DPGHCET can apply through PGCET 201 of respective course. M. Tech candidates can also apply with a valid GATE score. To be eligible to apply to various Ph.D. programs offered by the college, applicant should have a master’s degree in the relevant or allied discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. Candidates applying for Ph.D. offered by SIT are selected through personal interview conducted on institute level. The applicant may require to take an admission test for certain subjects.

Dr. PG Halakatti College of Engineering and Technology Application Process 2023
The process of application varies from course to course. The detailed application process for each course is as listed below:
For B.E. programs:
- Candidates can apply through Karnataka CET-2021 by visiting the KCET website.
- Candidates have to first click on “New User? Click Here to Register” tab on the home page of the KEA website. He/she will then have to provide all the required information in the candidate registration form and submit.
- A unique registration number and User ID is given at this point.
- Candidates are then required to fill and submit the online Application form online after filling all the requisite details as given in the information brochure.
- Payment of application fees can be made online through e-Challan.
- Scanned copies of passport size photograph, candidate’s signature, candidate’s Left Hand Thumb Impression and Parent’s signature will be required to upload.
- Candidates must retain the following documents with them as reference for future correspondence.
- At least three printouts of the finally submitted online Application.
- Proof of fees paid
- 2-3 copies of identical Photograph that scanned and uploaded on the Online Application.
- All successful applicants will be issued admit cards for the purpose of CET. Candidates must preserve the Admit Card till the admission in College or Institution.
Note: The process of application for M. Tech, MBA and MCA is same as that of B. Tech. However, candidates must apply through the PGCET 2021 link instead of KCET link.

Admission:
The admission process is very simple using the whole admission process we had to pay the complete fees that is 90,000 and the eligibility of the courses you have to have past your 12th with a good grade and the application forms are given in the college itself you have to go to the office and you will receive the application form the application fees and usually the dates are dependent on the exam of the cet. The details of reservation is not present in our college. The frequency and timings of exams along with our perspective is almost as same as what are given previously it needs more time and to be allotted to us . The areas I would suggest for improvement would be in the admission process which is basically more of the office department interaction with the students and timings and availability of them

Admission process is too long.I had got 33000 ranking in cet exam.so that got seat in bldea engineering college vijayapur in civil branch.In admission process that have said that we should arrange all the documents in a sequence they hav provided after that they verified our documents and filled the application form after that the biometric and photo can be taken from college office.

I came through cet and the cutoff was 30000 my rank was 27000 so I got admission easily and the fees was 98000 and some extra infrastructure fees.there was no entrance exam was conducted I came through government exam.

To be honest admission process was bit complicated and it was not done in well and disciplined manner more number of students gathered at a time for admission and admission section had become completely messy at that time.. After all this admission staff members helped us a lot in getting admission. One good thing was after this issue few people's were appointed to help them in admission process... Teaching staff is good and well interactive.. one suggestion i would like to give in improvement section is that cleanliness need to be maintained bit more.

*Based on my cet ranking i got bldea's college, in bijapur 2014. *They given time and date for admission in that day we went to college. *Before admission we have to pay the cet fees in SBI Bank and have the copy or dd. * The addmission department given one form to fill and they also given one reference form to solve the problems. *In admission room they collect all the Xerox copy of certificates like Mark's cards, kannada medium, rural cirtificate,cet fees dd, caste and income certificate,id proof and tha given form. * After all they took Original cirtificates and cover it pined and given one knowledgement letter and collect starting date. On that day I went to college. Now college become more chances and updates. Thank you

Admission:
It was through the CET exam, The cutoff should be within 30000 for admission into the college. I got a reservation in SNQ. The application form is filled out online and for writing this exam the criteria are to pass the PU exam. Application fees are filled out online.
Admission:
No further improvement is required. Although it can update with latest efficient ways. The admission process, fees, and miscellaneous stuff can all be done through online mode. There's not much paperwork required as the details are verified online. They have their own app through which we can track everything related to college. Our student profile, fee structure, calendar, upcoming events, declaration of holidays, circulars, and such. Overall everything is being taken care of.
Admission:
No such criteria. If get seat through CET they take direct admissions. For management they may take interview based on their previous acedemic performance.
Admission:
No such things we can get admission directly without any having any exam nor interview. So I didn't face any such things while getting admission in the college
Remarks:
The college had a decent number of placements and a good campus. Admission process was according to karnataka government since my admission was based on KCET entrance exam.My rank in KCET was around 41k and OBC quota so at the time of option entry this college seemed like a good option.
