Well our college is affiliated to MAKAUT so they don't have a lot of control over it. most core subjects are relevant and very applicable. There are however some subjects in the 1st year that I would say are not very interesting and related to our branch. There are 4 CA exams 2 PCA(practical) exams and a semester exam every six month. The time that is given is sufficient to prepare for the exams and the frequency ensures that you gradually build you skill level to tackle your semester exams.

As a CSE student at Asansol Engineering College, the faculty of the CSE department is very helpful and the college also provides different extra classes for the preparation for the placement. The teachers are good, there is no need for improvement in the teaching methods the teachers are very senior teachers. The duration of the internal exam is 1 hrs and for the semester it is 3 hours.

Subjects such as Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Mechanics, English, Electrical Technology, Engineering Drawing and Graphics, Programming, Data Structures, etc, are common subjects in the BTech curriculum.B.tech is a technical course that influenced me to do this course so that I can have job after its completion. It makes you industry ready. It teaches you all fields like personality development, about the law and constitution. It teaches you coding so that you can work from your home also.I think the teaching methods should me improved by using practical applications. The timing of the exams should also be changed because the syllabus is so vast and they take it so early.

The aspects on which I have choosen this course is the placement opportunities that our college gives to us. The curriculum have many languages to learn and helps us to be industry ready, and there are some field where they need improvement but this is okay. There are mainly two exams held in a year and those are the semester exams, and the difficulty level high.
