We were taken to the industrial visit for every subject we had in our course we get the practical knowledge very good and the labs provided are also good so we just don't get theoretical knowledge but also get the practical knowledge

AISSMS is being for a great while in the industry, and it has great mechanical faculty and equipment. at least that is what I thought before taking admission, anyways that is true for about 70%. most of the faculty have doctorate degrees. but some subjects have less experienced teachers. few teachers are from IITs background. practical equipment is good but not all are in working condition. but overall teachers and equipment are decent.
As I have a family business background so I took mechanical engineering as a course. The student is much in this college. the faculty is well educated to make you sharp. The exams were too much easy to pass.
Mechanical Engineering course I chose because I have interest in cars and modifications, as well it is a core branch, there are 60 students in each class our faculty members are too free with us, they give time to all the students and also for submission, because of Covid-19 online classes made changes in education.
I was interested in Mechanical engineering so I had chosen the course. Every student can be guided with their queries by the huge experience of faculties. Every department has a good number of PhD holding faculties with a lot of experience in particular fields. Teaching is good with a lot of teaching aids like software, equipment. Even if there are queries they are resolved by faculties. Exams are conducted as per SPPU schedules and as teaching is good passing of exams is easy.
The college curriculum is strictly according to the Pune University which is a bit old and is not quite up to date. The quality of teaching is good and lectures are conducted on a daily basis. Attendance of 75% is compulsory but even if it is less than that no strict actions as such are taken. There are a lot of assignments to do and no mercy is shown towards the students and they have to complete it in the given time itself or else strict actions are taken.
I have been taken admission in mechanical sandwich course this course provides us with one year of internship and with a good stipend and yes offcourse not everyone will get stipend based on your performance company offers you a stipend
It's basically same with plain Mechanical Department but it is the blend of subjects inshort, 2 subjects are less and there is opportunity of 1 year internship. The faculties are also pretty good and the administrative department is also very cooperative.
100000 for general students and this is feasible for an engineering field of study. Additional charges include exams fees.Industrial visit fee,Cultural fest fee,Uniform fee.And yes that's it. So all in all per year expenses account to a total of 1500000/-.
Fees is same for syllabus as like other colleges only. Here it is bit good. But no special concession for single parent students or poor students. U cant pay the complete amount of fees in part payment.i.e we can't pay fees in installments. Not even for two installments of a week interval. Infact they will charge you for late fees if Ur not able to pay in time.
