AISSMS College of Engineering Admission 2024 is open based on CET entrance exams and CAP counselling. The CET Cell has started Maharashtra CAP counselling for various degree courses offered at AISSMS College of Engineering. The latest updates are:
- MHT CET 2024 counselling registration has started for B.Tech courses at AISSMS College of Engineering. The last date to register for counseling is July 24 (till 5 PM). Candidates can register online @cetcell.mahacet.org.
- CAP counselling registration for M.Tech courses is also open. The online counselling registration and document verification is open till July 17.
- Admission to B.Tech lateral entry program will begin soon.

Located in the heart of Pune city, AISSMS College of Engineering is easily accessible from the Pune Railway Station. The institute was established in 1992 by Chhatrapati Shri Sahu Maharaj of Kolhapur. It is affiliated to the University of Pune and is accredited by A+ grade by NAAC. The college is also accredited by the NBA.
AISSMS College of Engineering offers Bachelors of Engineering (BE) and Masters of Engineering (ME). Candidates who are seeking admission in BE must possess a valid score in MHT CET or JEE Main. Eligibility
To apply for the course, one should satisfy the following eligibility:
- Candidates must have passed class XII with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with any of the following subjects Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject and obtained at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PWD candidates of Maharashtra state only).
- Preference will be given to candidates having non zero positive score in JEE Main over non zero score in MHT CET.
NOTE - For admission into BE Lateral Entry, candidates must have passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology with 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/PWD candidates of Maharashtra state only).
Selection Criteria
- All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society (AISSMS) College of Engineering considers the score of MHT CET and JEE Main (Paper 1) for selection.
- Candidates with a valid score have to appear for the MHT CET Counselling which takes place through Common Admission Process (CAP).
- During the counselling, candidates have to register online, select the type of candidature, fill educational & examination details, upload scanned images of photograph & signature and lastly pay the counselling fee of INR 800/- (INR 600/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates of Maharashtra and INR 5000/- for NRI/PIO/OCI/Foreign Nationals).
- Upon successful registration, candidates need to report at the Admission Facilitation Centre (AFC) for verification of documents.
- Therefore, candidates are requested to carry their original documents and set of self attested copies while reporting.
- After verification, students have to login to their account and select the college and course according to their preference.
- Applicants will be allotted seats through CAP based on the score obtained in the entrance test and choices filled.
- The Seat Allotment Letter will be published online.
- Post allotment, applicants have to report at the reporting center either to freeze, float or slide their allotted seats.
- If satisfied with the allotment then students have to report at the allotted institute to complete the admission process and pay the remaining fees.
NOTE – Mahrashtra state candidates are selected based on MHT CET score only while All India candidates are selected based on JEE Main/ MHT CET score.

Eligibility
The minimum requirement for the course is a Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PWD candidates of Maharashtra state only).
NOTE - Sponsored candidates must have 2 years of full-time work experience in the registered firm/company/industry/educational and/or research institute.
Selection Criteria
- Students with a valid score in the GATE exam are selected for admission.
- Such candidates have to actively take part in MHT CET Counselling where they have to register themselves.
- After registration, candidates have to report at AFC for document verification.
- When the verification is done, students have to login to the account for filling the choice of college and course.
- Based on the score and choices filed, the concerned authority will allot seats.
- If the allotment is as per candidate’s preference then he or she needs to freeze the seat.
- If not then he or she can choose either float or slide option.
- After the seat allotment, applicants have to visit the allotted institute for further admission formalities.

Eligibility is 95% for CET and 97% for JEE. Application forms and application fees can be available from the online website and across the college too. Every caste has various reservation benefits The admission staff is cooperative and you can visit the college any Saturdays or Sundays too

the application form can be found on dte official website there you need to regidter first upload all your caste document and proceed forwared lalter on you need to fill out the college prefrence form and thats the overall process , talking about the cutoffs as i choosed to pursue diploma after 10th std the score of 10th std were considered as cutoff during 2020-2021 the cutoff was nearly about 80% for now as per my knowledge the cutoff for computer engineering is nearly 87-89

- the campus is big in size and they have their own stationary corner for students so there is no need of going out of the campus

- elective subjects are not elected by students , even being in top 3 clgs in pune they promote nepotism in faculty , the teacher who cant teach properly is alloted the subject jus cause hes related to someone of trasfered from another college

if you want to take admission after 10th you have to fill the form of DTE (directorate of technical education) . and then according to your 10th percentage the cap round allots you college and you got to put your preference college list he it allots you college, same is for 10+2 students.

I never saw the college and I never herd the college name so it was exciting for me to go to the college when I went to the college I like it when I go to the admission process she said nice things. admission process very nice.

Admisson process was very easy. The eligibility for open category was 96 percentile in mht cet exam. Reservation benefits were aslo there due to which students get concessions in the tution fees like EBC.

- Experience, great faculty with expertise in there respective teaching SUBJECTS, with amazing teaching techniques.

Talking about eligibility is that you must get above, 60% in 10th board if your are applying on basis of your tenth marks or you must score 60+% in your 12th board which will give you a admission to DSY.

I got the admission in AISSMS coe in BE, computer science. I got it on the basis of my MHT cet scorecard where I scored 97.36 percentile. The cutoff of computer science goes near about 94 percentile for open category

For general category at the time of our admission the cutoff for CSE branch was 95 percentile in MHTCET exam and for mechanical it was 82 percentile in MHTCET and through jee mains it was 76 percentile for mechanical and 90 for CSE
