Achariya College of Engineering and Technology was established in 2010 and is situated at Villupuram Main Rd, Villianur a city in Union Territory Puducherry. It is a private institute affiliated to Pondicherry University (PU) Pondicherry.
ACET offers an undergraduate program of engineering in 5 different branches, i.e. CE, ME, ECE, CSE & EEE. Candidates seeking admission should have completed or pursuing 12th /equivalent examination from a recognized board in the PCM subject.
ACET also offers lateral entry for B.Tech course of 3-year duration in 5 different branches.

Admission is done by the Centralized Admission Committee (CENTAC), Government of Puducherry. Admission to the Government Quota of Seats will be as per the law/ regulation of Government of India

Eligibility
- Candidates must have passed 10+2/ Intermediate from a recognized board.
- The candidate should have passed the qualifying Examination +2 level with a minimum of 45% marks (a mere pass for SC / ST candidates) in aggregate, in the prescribed subjects, i.e. Mathematics, Physics and any one of the following optional subjects: Chemistry/Bio-Technology/ Computer Science/ Biology (Botany & Zoology).
- Applicant should be Indian national; Upper age limit is 21 and lower age limit is 17
Selection Criteria
- Candidates, who had applied for Central Admission Committee CENTAC 2021, have to appear for the counseling.
- The candidate has to log in to the CENTAC official website and has to select Achariya College of Engineering and Technology in counseling.
- CENTAC will prepare for separate merit lists for various courses based on candidates’ marks in 10+2.
- The final admission is only through the counseling process based on the rank obtained in the merit.
- Selected candidates will be informed through a call and they need to report at the college for admission along with their documents.
- Document verification and seat allocation will be done through the centralized counseling process.

Any stream students can apply for the B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering department. Those who all get a good cut-off for engineering maths, physics, and chemistry can get into the cse department through the Centac counselling. Applications are available in both online and offline.

Cut off mark should be above 60 percent in selective subjects to get eligibility for the course. All application forms and details are available in the admin office at our college itself. the recommended staff will help us with the admission process also.
Remarks:
Good infrastructure, friendly staffs and they provide many scholarships for the students,excellent teaching and they mostly concentrate in education and physical education and placement trainings.they provide 100%scholarships for those the student got Hsc more than 70 % etc.these are the reason to me choose the institution.

I applied for CENTAC, one day I received counselling letter from centac, I attended that counselling, I asked that college and that course and I got admission.
