RIMS Ranchi Cutoff for the academic year 2024-25 is based on NEET score for admission to its MBBS, MD/MS and DM/MCh programs. How to Apply for RIMS Ranchi Admission?

RIMS Ranchi accepts NEET UG, NEET PG, and NEET SS scores for admission to the MBBS, MD/MS, and DM/MCh. Candidates who are domiciled in Jharkhand can seek admission through Jharkhand NEET Counselling conducted by JCECEB. Individuals applying for another state can apply for NEET Counselling conducted by the MCC.

Jharkhand NEET Counselling will tentatively commence in August 2024. 85% of the MBBS seats and 50% of the PG seats are reserved for the Jharkhand State Quota at RIMS Ranchi. The remaining 15% of MBBS seats and 50% of PG seats are reserved under the All-India Quota. Individuals are allocated seats through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP), which is conducted in three rounds.

Fill out the online application form by carefully reading the information brochure.
Verify the details entered in the application form.
The registration fee for Jharkhand NEET UG Counseling is INR 500, while for NEET PG candidates, it is INR 1000.
Candidates must lock RIMS Ranchi during the choice locking window of counselling.
During the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) counselling, candidates must submit new choices for each round.

Patients are enough for you to develop great skills

Consumables are very frequently exhausted and you have to buy your own materials to work on patients which is somewhat expensive
Every medical college is toxic...some people suffocate you a lot but keeping a positive attitude always helps

Eligibility is qualifying NEET CUTOFF marks which was 557/720 for me in OBC category in 2021. After you clear NEET and participate in counselling you are allotted this seat and called to college alongwith all the necessary documents which is informed to you. You have to appear for 3 internal and 1 university exam every year for 4 years. After this 1 year of internship is granted in the same hospital.

Eligibility is 12 passed out with biology Have to appear for NEET - UG held in May every year. There is reservation available for SC/ST/OBC students as well as Female students in some states. Difficulty level is medium for the NEET exam with a few students scoring 100%

Why go for RIMS over any other college?

This is the highest tertiary care centre of the state with large number of patient load, providing a better platform for clinical practice than any other colleges of the state. Also the number of PG seats are highest in the state.
All the faculties are highly qualified and experienced doctors in their respective departments.

Number of faculties are far less than tha number of students.
The resources for practical teaching such as instruments and rooms for teaching could not suffice a batch of 180 students.

To get admission in this college one has to clear NEET(UG) exam with required cutoff rank. For general category the cut off varies around 3k rank for all India category. With state quota the cut off rank is around 9k. The cutoff varies according to various categories. After result one has to attend all India counselling to get the seat through all India quota, for state quota Jharkhand state counselling.

You have to crack NEET UG Application form, Application fees and Application dates are available on the site neet.nta.nic.in Reservation is for OBC EWS SC ST EWS-10% OBC-15% SC-15% ST-25% Exams are taken strictly on a regular basis after every 3 months. The difficulty level of the exams is moderate. The admission process takes almost a day. The staff are not proficient in thier work. The process should be more hassle-free and quick and all the documentation work should occur in one place

Campus of Rajendra institute of medical science, Ranchi is big enough with surrounding greenery.
Hostel and library facilities are awesome.

Limitations regarding various things are little high.
The college has missed some essential things in academic.

For taking admission in MBBS or BDS course , one should clear NEET UG Exam. The admission process begins with the All india counselling or state counselling. After got seat in college, we have to report in the college Campus with all necessary documents. Reservation benefits available for SC/ST and home state students. Exams - 3 terminals exams at 2.5months and one University exams at the end of course. Admission process may be more easier if all the procedure will occur at one place.

Through this exam, you will take admission for MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS and Nursing. You will find the application form from the National Medical Council's official website. Application fee variable and it increased every year. There is no specific date it's a form filling around the month of February to March. Reservation benefits according to the percentage of seats fixed for a particular community I didn't want to improve

To get admission in RIMS Ranchi in MBBS course, we have to qualify NEET exam. This year cutoff for MBBS course was AIR 6541 for general and AIR 7654 for OBC through AIQ. For state Quota, MBBS cutoff was AIQ 11432 for general candidate and 12000 for OBC candidates.. Application form for Neet is released by NTA every year and exam is conducted generally in May or June. Application fee is 1500 for general,EWS and OBC and 1000 for ST/SC.

Reality of RIMS

Did not apply any other, RIMS was best in jharkhand I was in OBC quota Minimum marks I don't remember, minimum age was 17 yrs. It was good, all process took place in a day, of everyone. Counseling was online, admission was taken in physical presence.
