Gandhi Medical College and Osmania Medical Colleges are both funded by the state government. The facilities and resources might be limited. Whereas, AIIMS Mangalgiri is recognized as an “Institution of National Importance” and is funded by the Government of India.
AIIMS Mangalagiri has well-experienced faculty who are highly qualified and recognized in their respective fields. JIPMER handles the faculty requirement at AIIMS Mangagalgiri. Although the institution has a temporary campus at Government Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada. Now, the campus has shifted to the newly constructed campus. The intake at AIIMS Mangalgiri is 125 seats annually for MBBS. Students willing to seek admission at AIIMS Mangalagiri must secure the required cutoff marks in their respective entrance exams. Despite the admission at AIIMS Mangalagiri being highly competitive, the institute offers admission to PG courses twice a year. As a result, students wanting to pursue higher studies such as MD/MS or DM / M.Ch can apply twice a year through INI CET i.e., INI CET January Session or INI CET July Session.
The fees at AIIMS Mangalgiri are comparatively less than any other medical institute. In regards to academics. Students joining AIIMS Mangalagiri are offered with excellent medical curriculum as per AIIMS standards. The institute also offers various facilities such as a Guest House, Indoor & Outdoor Sports Facilities, Community Halls, Gym, Dining Area, Hostels, Library, Laboratories and VIP Lounges.
Although the AIIMS Mangalagiri campus was recently constructed, students are not deprived of any resources and facilities. Osmania medical college
Now choose wisely based on your preferences!
Here is my honest observation of both these medical colleges.
My friend studies at Osmania Medical College. According to him, Osmania does not have good facilities. First of all, the college and hospital are located far away from each other. The hospital infrastructure is in a poor condition. The faculty does not teach well, they basically teach from guides. No proper teaching schedule is followed, and campus strikes are very common.
AIIMS Hyderabad is very newly built. But it has top class faculty. Unlike Osmania, the teacher-student ratio is good. Moreover, around 200 acres of area is allocated for sports activities.
So I would suggest you choose AIIMS Hyderabad over Osmania.
It's difficult to say which medical college is "better" as it ultimately depends on individual preferences and needs. However, Osmania Medical College offers better exposure as students get to attend postings in 9 different hospitals till the time they complete their final year. Here, every specialty has its own hospital so students get to witness diverse cases during their time in the college. However, it's pretty tiring to travel to and fro to the hospital and then attend classes in the college in the afternoon.
Gandhi Medical College has a hospital within the college premises therefore saving a lot of time for students. However, the amount of exposure they get is limited.
So, it is better to choose Osmania Medical College over Gandhi Medical College.
Osmania Medical College is a very old medical institute established in the mid-1800s and has a deteriorating infrastructure now. AIIMS Nagpur on the other hand has been established in 2012 with all modern architecture and facilities. Both the institutes have unique pros and cons and choosing one over the other means which institutes weaknesses you are choosing to overlook.

There is no right answer and only to find the right college for you after weighing the pros and cons.
Both GMC and OMC are equally good medical colleges for internships in terms of the exposure they offer. However, if I had to choose one between the two, I would have opted for GMC.
Students of OMC have to roam around from one hospital to another for completion certificates and waste a lot of time in the process. There are students from all over Hyderabad, and sometimes traveling to the hospital takes 45 minutes. For example, the maternity hospital is at one end while the Psychiatry department is at another. This results in many technical challenges and students might find it difficult to get their degree certificate
So, if you have the choice, go for an internship at Gandhi Medical College because here everything is under one roof so you will bewill be saving a lot of time and effort.
Osmania University is a state college, and AIIMS is a national institute. Each college has both pros and cons, which will vary from person to person.
When it comes to Osmania Medical College, it has a great OP with over 1000 patients per day. Furthermore, it is a well-known brand in the Telugu states and many other south Indian states. It has excellent professors with many years of experience, and you will have no linguistic difficulties if you return to Hyderabad. Other issues to consider include safety and security, hostel conditions, ragging, and so on. It has more affiliated hospitals than AIIMS, New Delhi, providing us with more exposure to new cases and patients.
AIIMS Raipur is a nationally renowned institution with an adequate funding system. You will also be marked with the AIIMS tag. Extracurricular activities abound in central institutions. This college's professors are also experienced. Here, research and other programs are encouraged. Because AIIMS uses a semester system rather than a yearly system, failing will not appear on your final report. It also has more cultural diversity, given that people from all over India will be attending AIIMS. The hospital and college infrastructure is also superior to that of Osmania.
Osmania Medical College is one of the oldest medical institutes in India, unlike AIIMS Bibinagar which is comparatively very new. The institute is immensely popular in the state with an incomparable IPD load with around 10 hospitals attached to it. Osmania Medical College is located at a prime location and thus has better connectivity. The institute also has an internal state PG quota, unlike AIIMS Bibinagar which makes it a better option for those who want to seek admission to PG courses with ease. The hostels and other facilities aren't that great in Osmania Medical College. The batch size is also bigger and the faculty is not at par with AIIMS.
One can check out the major facts about both AIIMS Bibinagar and Osmania Medical College and choose the best option for them accordingly.
