Dhruba Chand Halder College (DCH) was established in 1965 in North 24 Parganas, West Bengal. It was previously known as Dakshin Barasat College. The college is affiliated to University of Calcutta, Kolkata.

DCH College offers Honours and General degree courses in B.A., B.Com and B.Sc. in different subjects of specialization.
The basic eligibility criteria to take admission in any General Under-Graduate course is to pass 10+2 in relevant stream from a recognised board. However, for the Honours courses, the candidates must have secured 50% marks in aggregate in 10+2 in relevant stream with 45% marks in the subject of specialization.
When not studied the related subject in the qualifying exam, then aggregate of 50% marks is needed for eligibility. Candidates with 55% marks in the specialization subject with passing marks in aggregate can also apply.
Selection of the candidates in any of these courses is purely based on the merit of the qualifying examination which is calculated with best of four subjects and the subject of specialization.

Collage is closed to my House.and nearby railway station.A decent amount of fees is taken from our college. There is two main semester exam in a year. Exams are conducted in different colleges. You have to carry 30% marks to pass semester exams.

College is close to my house and railway station. Fees structure of this College is not so high. College take admission based on student's higher secondary marks. It would be better if you carry 75% or above marks in higher secondary.

I applied many colleges but I take admission in this college because the college is near to my house and my elder brother was studied in the college. No I didn't get any rejection from other colleges. My name where came in first list of the college so I take admission in the college. First of all I apply college for my cybercafe then many least came out from the college and in first least my name out and I take admission and I payment through online mode and I got admission. The eligibility criteria of admit in our college where anyone who passed higher secondary examination with 50% marks they can apply to the college.

I choose the college because I heard many good things about the college and it is close from where I live. College admitted students based on their Higher secondary mark. You should have 80% mark to confirm your admission. After applying for admission you have to wait till college released its merit list. Then document verification is done.

To be frankly I choose the college because it was not so far from my house. And the college faculty is quite good. But the fees structure is slightly higher than its surrounding colleges. It took admission based on Higher secondary results.

Eligibility for this course is 12th standard with science background with the subject biology. For find the admission details You should go the college website, & you will get all the information. If you are a reserved candidate then You will get some benefits. The exams will conducted in semister wise. Admission process is very good and the website is very good, no problem will be occured.

To get admission in our college you have to pass 12th and every subject. There is a website of our college where we come to know about the updates of application from , application fees and application dates. The AC, ST get the facilities of the reservation category. I don't think there should any need for improvement.
