The Provisional Merit Lists of Candidates after verification of uploaded documents have been released @drntr.uhsap.in for both the Competent Quota (CQ) and Management Quota (MQ). Check CQ Merit List Here. Candidates can submit their grievances to the provisional merit list by November 18, 2024 (10 AM) through the applicant portal.

- MCC NEET PG Counselling 2024 has started for admission to All-India Quota MD/ MS/ DNB Seats. The last date to register online for Round 1 Counselling is November 17, 2024 (12 PM). The choice filling is scheduled from November 8 to November 17, 2024. Candidates can register and fill in their choices online @ mcc.nic.in. The Round 1 Seat Allotment Result will be released on November 20, 2024.
20 Sep, 2024 NEET SS 2024 Exam will be conducted on March 29 and March 30, 2025 for admission to DM/ M.Ch/ DNB Courses at Guntur Medical College. Candidates can check more updates @ natboard.edu.in.

Guntur Medical College is one of the premier medical institutions in south India. It is located in the heart of the city of Guntur, the knowledge hub of Andhra Pradesh. This Institute was established in 1946, it is accredited by AICTE and is affiliated to Dr NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada (NTRUHS).

Guntur Medical College Admissions
GMC offers a variety of courses under its on-campus facilities with various specialities including UG, PG and Diploma programmes, each having their own selection criteria. GMC Admissions to any of the programmes requires either an entrance test to qualify or clear the merit-based selection process.
How to Apply for GMC Admissions?
- To apply via the Online method, first, visit the official website of Guntur Medical College
- Need to fillup the form from the homepage via a tab for Admissions
- Selecting the application form link and filling out the details including personal information and academic details
- Adding the photograph in the space provided and enclosing all the required documents
- Along with that verify all of the details filled and pay the application fees

- GMCANA Scholarships: This scholarship is provided to the students who are academically excellent and sound, meanwhile economically challenged. These students are selected completely on the basis of their merit scores. The fund amount served is about $250.
- Sri Vasireddy Seetapati & Gowri Devi Scholarship Fund: A scholarship distributed totally on the basis of merit scores as awarded to the

- The first ranker in MBBS in GMC, fund amount is about $200.
- Dr Kancherla Aruna Prasad Memorial Endowment Scholarship Fund: This scholarship is provided to the students who are academically bright and economically disadvantaged. And are distributed according to the rank obtained in Eamcet. Fund amount is about $250.
- Sri Tummala Ramakrishna Sastrulu Memorial Fund: This scholarship is provided to the students who are academically bright and economically disadvantaged identified by a committee of GMCANA coordinators, Principal and staff. Fund amount is about $200.
- Dr.Tummala Ramabrahman, M.D, memorial GMCANA Research Endowment Fund: Established by Drs. Venkata Subba Rao Uppuluri, Srihar Gazula, Nageswara Rao Latchamsetty and Ramprasad Chilakapati in fond memory of their friend and classmate. This scholarship is provided to promote research areas among candidates, awarded to selected research papers in national or international peer-reviewed journals or presented at national or international peer-reviewed meetings. - The college campus and hospital are so big , hospital with very heavy case load , good exposure to variety of cases , college have excellent academics also , I just love the college atmosphere , very big garden , just loved it and is so peaceful
- Hospital is one of the top training centres , can learn a lot here , i personally like the natco centre in hospital very much with very good infrastructure, with years passing new buildings are being constructed, seperately for mother and child
Dislikes
- Some buildings are too old that the paints and pieces of wall falls off at some places ,
- Way of teaching is not good except some professors , they come and just dictate something and go , they don't try to teach students in effectively and they also don't interact much with the students .
Admission:
1st college I applied to is this college only , then in the order I filled other college options also , I got this college not by chance , but I preferred this college over others since it is near to my hometown with excellent academics and case exposure Admission process is same like all other government colleges , eligibility is should qualify neet UG examination and get good score in it , usually cutoff score is high and ranks below 5000 (AIR)for general category

- The college environment is good, the campus is maintained very clean and hygiene. The security is also good with students. The dissection hall has 8 tables for cadavers. The professors explain our doubts well if we ask
- The garden is maintained clean and the aayas sweep the garden daily twice. They mop the campus daily. The garden has tables for sitting and it has way connecting two blocks. The auditorium is huge and has large number of seating.
Dislikes
- The physiology lecture gallery is small for 250 students. The departnents should conduct classes in batches to avoid congestion.
- The playground is small. The restrooms are also only 3 in each department
Admission:
I applied to this college along with other government medical colleges but my first preference is guntur medical College because it is nearer to my house. Our college op is large and many different cases which helps us to expand our knowledge and practical skills. We have to clear neet with decent score, then we have to apply for counselling where student should select colleges according to their priorities. Based on student neet rank the allotment of colleges is done. The cutoff marks and ranks are available in ntruhs. The admission process is smooth. We just have to be updated with the notifications of ntruhs for fees and reporting dates.

- Our college is full of skilled professors having excellent teaching skills. The college surrounded by full of beautiful buildings and trees which gives peace of mind required for studies
- College has a library with a wide range of medical books. Best part is everything is free of cost cause it's a government college
Dislikes
- Still some departments has to be improved with good equipments
Admission:
There is a process for the entry of mbbs course one has to appear for NEET Examination and have to clear the examination with a good score. The cut off marks are different for different Medical Colleges but having above 500 marks make good chances for getting a medical seat. It's also depends on difficulty of NEET Exam and some reservation policies. The Examinations will definately get more and more though year by year. My personal thought was the counselling process should be changed cause due to conducting two counsellings same time marking Students confused there is national counselling and state counselling hence to make them as one counselling is better option

- There are caste clubs which i dont like personally...

Admission:
One should clear NEET UG . Reservation really helps in getting into a college of our choice.. Exam will be conducted once an year.... One should be determined and work hard and get good marks in neet ug as the competition is very high now.

- Reputed college with famous award winning alumni.
- All basic facilities are there. Studies is given more importance here.
Dislikes
- My college lacks emphasis on sports. There are no grounds for any sports not any teacher for coaching.
- No emphasis on culturals . Students have to take their own effort to put up some small events together.
Admission:
I am a general category student form Kerala and got 633 marks in 2020 NEET Exam. Althought the cutoff for students from Andhra Pradesh might be lower at 600s. The NEET Exam conducted in 2020 was easy but more than 16 lakh students took part that year so competition was intense. Admission process was mostly smooth and got over 3 days itself during December that year and joined college in February 2021.

- In 1st year I really like the dissection hall.we are exposed to many cadavers and allow us to cut and explore the human body
- I like the pathology and microbiology labs.
Dislikes
- I don't really like the infrastructure and buildings
- I really don't like the administrative system.
Admission:
The eligibility criteria for the course in my college is to get a minimum of 590 for an oc students. The applications details are sent to your respective numbers in form of messages. Applications fee can be around Thousand. Womens have high reservations. Areas needs improvements are the proper and well organized system for admission process

- Hostel accommodation, less student activity and less clubs and groups inside campus

The admission process was smooth. We had to clear our 12th class. And we had to qualify for the NEET examination, where 16 lakh students appear for the examination. We can find application form from the official website of national medical council. And the application fee costs ?1200/-.once in a year the examination is conducted. It's very difficult exams as 16 lakh people are there to compete with you.

- There is not many things that I dislike in the campus
- Wash rooms are not very well maintained in the campus
