The faculty is great; I can say it is one of the best faculties in the city of Kolkata.
The experience in an internship matters the most as it is the time when we bring all our learning into practical application.

Dislikes

The stipend is around ?23000, but the experience is horrible due to excessive workload, leaving the students with insufficient time to prepare for NEET-PG.
There is only one hostel for girls called the Swarnamoyee Girls Hostel, in which not all girls are able to get accommodation.

Medical college kolkata is the oldest medical college in asia. Established in 1835. It is the most famous college in Kolkata for persuasion of MBBS. You can feel the vibes of ancient glory and recent medical advances in the campus. It is the first government medical college to have an heart transplant in Easter India.

One of the Best Medical Colleges in West Bengal. It's the oldest Medical College in Asia. Many eminent doctors were the students of this college. Like Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, Dr. Nilratan Sircar, Dr. R.G.Kar and the list doesn't end. Various new technologies are invented in our college in field of Surgery, Medicines, Gynaecology. And everywhere Medical College Kolkata remains the Guide.

Remarks:

Overall its a very excellent college. Must prefer for medical students. I secured a rank within top 100 in WBJEE to qualify for entry into this medical college. Since this is the topmost college, all other options were open to me.
