Faculty:

Faculty members are really good and helpful. Being an orthopaedic resident, hands on is very important. The faculties here give huge hands on training in operation theatres as well as wards and they take regular ward classes which helps us to improve our clinical accumen.

The faculties are probably the best than any medical college of this state, they are very much helpful in doubt clearing as well. morever during clinical postings they give an overview of the case and the respective history taking, arriving at diagnosis and management part.

For us, more tgan theoretical knowledge, we have to learn practical application. That is medical science. Our college is asia's oldest medical college. It has a golden heritage since 1835. We have a large team of faculty in every department. We have hods, senior professors, professors, demonstrators, PGTs & others. All of them are highly qualified &very helpful. They teach us each and every aspect of the subject along with the new AETCOM system.

Faculties for 1st prof and 2nd prof exams are very good but for the last 2 profs, teaching is not upto the mark. You have to attend wards all by your personal interest and attend patients so that you become fluent in your dealings with patients and gain experience.
