05 Aug, 2025 Tamil Nadu NEET UG Counselling 2025 is ongoing for MBBS/ BDS courses. The last date for registration and choice filling @tnmedicalselection.net is extended to August 6, 2025. The Seat Allotment will be out on August 8, 2025. Check revised schedule.

Government Theni Medical College MBBS is offered as 5 Years 6 Months Full Time program, with total intake of 100 seats. The minimum eligibility criteria for MBBS is 10+2 with 50% + NEET. The total fees for Government Theni Medical College MBBS in 2023 is ₹ 90,365 for the complete course duration, which includes total tuition fees of ₹ 90,365.

Government Theni Medical College Hostel Fee is ₹ 35,000 to 55,000.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate applying for admission in Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) should meet the following criteria

Candidates should have passed in all the subjects of the qualifying examination of the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (Academic) conducted by the TamilNadu State Board / any other equivalent Board in one and the same attempt ( Single Sitting ) in the following group of subjects with the minimum eligible marks in (Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology). (or) Physics, Chemistry, Biology with any other subject.
A failure in examination/ reappearance/ first appearance in a compartment in one or more subjects will be treated as an attempt.
Should have completed the age of Seventeen years on or before 31st December. Evidence should be produced.

Scholarships from the Tamilnadu state government and Government of India are offered. All the students whose parent's income are within the limit can apply for the scholarships. There are scholarships for separate communities
