The fee is very high despite it being a government college. The annual fee is 2 lakhs with a 10% increase every year. Final year fees is around 3.5-4 lakhs. The total course fee comes upto 10 lakhs. But we have an additional hostel fee- 42000 per annum. Mess fee - rs 40-50 per meal. Ac fee- 42000 (in a room shared by 4) and 22000 in single occupancy rooms. Fridge fee-8000 per annum. It is really difficult for the middle-class family to afford this kind of fees. There are very less scholarships available. Only students from the sc/obc/st/army categories get scholarships. There is no scholarship for EWS also, even though they much need it. The stipend an internship is only 15000 per month, which is very little and not enough for the basic needs. So affordability-wise, this college is really expensive.

During my tenure, fees for mbbs in Gmc Asr was 80,000 per year with 10% increase every year and 60k in the last year of internship. During internship we get a stipend of 15k per month. There are various scholarships available through which students can apply for and avail benefits. For the next batches the fees was revised to approx 1.6 lacs per annum and so on .

Tution fee for the first year is 172000 and increases by 10% each upcoming year making it a total of 910000 for the 2023 batch. It is quite high as compared to the government Medical Colleges of other states. Other charges include the hostel fee i.e. 45k for the 2023 batch, which increases by 4% each year. AC rooms have an additional charge of 10k considered as an electricity bill. No scholarships are available. No big fests organised by the college, very poor exposure, and the stipend is very low as compared to a fee.
