The eligibility is to pass the NEET-UG with a specific cut-off. In my year the cut-off was 580/720 for the general category. After clearing NEET-UG, you have to undergo counseling under BABA FARID UNIVERSITY to get into this college. The counseling fee was about 2000-3000rs. There are reservations in the college. I came from an EWS reservation which is about 10%. There are also reservations for SC, ST, OBC, Army persons, and Handicapped. The level of difficulty is very high in neet-ug since you are competing with 16 lakh students and only 1% get the seat. The areas of improvement can be a fair conduction of the entrance test and a decrease in reservation of some categories to do justice to the generals.

Admission into medical colleges is via NEET exam. Without qualifying neet you cannot apply for admission process in India. For a government college, the cutoffs are usually high and a good rank is required to get into one.

Admission to the college can be availed by clearing NEET-UG exam with a good AIR (between 5000-10000). The form for NEET can be accessed from NTA website. The registrations for the exam usually begin in Nov-Dec. The fees varies according to the reservation category of the candidate. For availing the reservation benefits, the candidate must produce the appropriate documents citing his/her reservation category ( in my case it was a OBC Certificate ). The Admission process is done via the NTA counselling which is done online. After the allotment of seat, the candidate has to report to the college within the prescribed dates with the essential documents.

You need to give NEET post-12th grade examinations. you need to secure a minimum of 65% in your 12th-grade examinations. depending on your marks and your rank in NEET results, you'll be allotted a college (govt or private). The higher the rank, the better the chances of getting into a good and desired college.
