GMC Surat was established in 1964 with the primary objective of offering medical education and conducting research within Gujarat. It is affiliated with Veer Narmad South Gujarat University and approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI). GMC Surat has been awarded the 89th national rank by IIRF 2023. You need to get score to get admission in this college through all India quota I am of general category and my score was 652/720. My AIR rank was 6346. You need to give Neet exam and pass clas 12th exam

- Campus is very greeny, peaceful, and big... It is no doubt beautiful for nature lovers though present in the middle of the City Surat...
- Some Faculties are more open towards learning and providing their experience towards benefit of students.

- Campus gets full of mud leading toh spread of diseases. Thus Dengue, malaria are very common and endemic in the Surat
- Some Facultes in the departments shows internal politics causing disputes in between the departments and also affecting the students

The only way to get elligible in any medical college currently is NEET(National Examination cum Entrance Test) conducted by NTA. Cut off generally helds aroung rank between AIR 4500-5000 for general category in All India Quota.

I had scored 580 in the Neet exam out of 720. It is quite good marks for government college admission. I had taken admission in government medical college Surat. There is two admission quota, 1st is all India and another one is the government (Gujarat). I had taken through the government quota. My course is MBBS and it is for 4.5 years. For the admission process, first registration at the centre is required and then we have to appear at Surat civil for confirmation of admission.

only by neet result, first registration on centre and then confirmation on surat college with all original documentation. there are two types of admission, one is through Gujarat quota and the other is on all India quota, I entered through Gujarat quota because I have not enough marks for all India quota. one other process is a bond guaranty for all Gujarat quota students.

Admission criteria:- there is only one criterion for admission in government medical College in GUJARAT for MBBS degree is your rank in NEET UG exam and then Gujarat merit list which published by the government based on applied by eligible students of Gujarat. Admission process:- There is not any kind of specific date for the admission process it's usually commented after NEET UG result out. It's quite a smooth process first do an online form fill and then verify your documents at the verification center at college.

The candidate must have graduated and a bachelor's degree in Medicine (MBBS) from any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India.
