D.Y Patil Medical College is a medical institution established by the D.Y Educational Society, Kohlapur (a Deemed University). Established in the year 2005 the college offers courses in the medical field including MBBS at graduate level and MD/MS/PG Diploma at post graduate level.

DYPMC, Kohlapur MBBS Admissions, 2024
DYPMC offer MBBS degree with an intake capacity of 150 students. The duration of course is 4.5 years with one year compulsory training. The selection of candidates is solely done through NEET UG rankings, followed by centralized counselling process.
As per the recent government laws admissions to MBBS in Deemed University institutions will be conducted by DGHS, New Delhi strictly on the basis of NEET UG rankings.
A candidate must be Indian national and must complete 17 years of age on or before December 31 of the admission year. The academic eligibility remains pass in HSC or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology as compulsory subjects with English as language subject.

DYPMC, Kohlapur MD/MS/PG Diploma Admissions, 2024
At the post-graduation level the college offers degree of MS, MD and PG Diploma in various specializations. Only candidates who have appeared in NEET PG can apply for post-graduation admissions.
For admissions into D.Y Patil Medical College candidates who have passed final MBBS examination from an institute recognized by MCI situated in India and have completed or in process of completing one year rotating internship training by March 31, 2016 are held eligible.
To be eligible for selection, a candidate belonging to General Category must secure minimum of 50th percentile while reserved category candidates must secure minimum of 40th percentile in NEET-PG.

- Candidates who have secured MBBS degree from foreign University are not eligible for admission process.
- All candidates desirous of taking admissions must be declared eligible by National Board of Examinations, New Delhi.
- The MCI registration is mandatory. Registration Certificate should be produced at the time of Preference Form filling process during online counselling.

DYPMC, Kohlapur Application Process 2024
MBBS – Eligible candidates are required to fill online application form to participate in counselling process. The form is made available on the official website of DGHS. In the admission process candidates register, exercise and lock their choices.
Thereafter, seat allotment process begins for All India Quota seats. Candidates are supposed to pay a requisite amount the details of which can be obtained from the college itself.
The information related to application process for admissions under state or institutional seats must be collected from the college office.
MD/MS/PG – Candidates applying under state quota seats must follow the given steps for making an application –
- The link ‘Apply Online for NEET-PG’ will be available on DMER website.
- Click on the application form link and fill all the entries in application form.
- Eligible candidates will be able to submit the form after completion.
- On submission a Unique Application No. (Username) along with details of required fee INR 3,000/- will be made available on Bank challan.
- Submit the bank challan at any branch of SBI and obtain a copy of Bank challan indication Journal ID/Transaction ID.
- Login again to verify the application form and take a print of Bank challan and submitted application form for future reference.
- Applicants are advised to not to send or post the application form.
