- They offer 2-year programs with a summer break and co-op term, that is the ONLY reason why I joined this college.
- Dislikes:
- Faculty is racist, has micro-aggressive behaviour, smallest campus in the world, teachers are lazy and do not teach at all.
Overview:
I chose this college because some of my friends had graduated from this college and were able to get an internship and a job post completion (on their own merit). And they offered a 2 year program with 4 months break and co-op. Other colleges either offer 1 year program in HRM or 8 months program. This was the best option economically and getting a work visa wise.

It was very straightforward and I received my LOA and my scholarship within a month of applying. I got a bunch of information from webinars hosted by the university as well. I further had support from my school and my agent .
Scholarship:
I received my scholarship based on my class 12 final results where I had a 90 average. So I was automatically granted it based on that and my academic transcripts.

- International student friendly with very good teaching staff and very good transport access to many parts of the city from university. Hybrid teaching style which helped me in moving some of my classes to online during peaks winters and part time shifts.
- Dislikes:
- University fee is much higher than many colleges and universities in Canada. Exam marking is very strict and attendance punctuality is must. Increase in the fee for second year which is a big dislike for many students.
Overview:
Over all the experience is good so far I am almost coming close to my final semester so far there is no such issue that concerned me most from my university.
Overview:
The campus is noticeably small and lacks fundamental amenities such as a library or a gym, along with other essential facilities. Moreover, the quality of teaching is subpar, necessitating the need to seek external resources like YouTube or other websites to comprehend the subject matter adequately. Additionally, there is a scarcity of professors who possess effective teaching skills.

The AU is the best educational institute. I am the live example. Instructors, Management, Students Association - Thunderbirds, the entire staff, etc all are so supportive and down to earth. Whenever I needed help, I always got prompt support. I really admire the education system, the programs, and the teaching style of the AU. Students are given opportunities in every field to become confident to enhance their knowledge. I can write a full book on the AU. In a nutshell, any international or national student can apply to the AU for a bright future. With regards:) Ridhina

Overview:
Algoma has two Campuses: Sault St. Marie & Brampton, I choose Brampton campus because it is the only university which has Campus in Brampton Downtown plus it's a good university academically! If you want to explore the local/ regional areas of Ontario, Sault St. Marie is the best campus for you. For city (downtown) life, Algoma has Brampton Campus which is connnected to Bus & subway terminals of GTA. Furthermore, courses at Algoma are field specific and provides the opprtunity to get onboard with big MNC players like Deloitte, Amazon, etc. Graduate Certifcates are of 2 years which enables upto 3 years of PSWR (Post Study Work Rights) for an International student. Additionally, there is an official break of 4 months in between where an international student can work full-time legally (for Graduate Courses only).
