- The lecturers were very friendly and helped with a lot of my coursework.
- There was a lot of extracurricular activities within university.
Dislikes
- The students, all were in cliques and discriminated against students of other countries.
It was very straightforward and I received my LOA and my scholarship within a month of applying. I got a bunch of information from webinars hosted by the university as well. I further had support from my school and my agent .
Course Curriculum
The number of credits in my program was 120. With 30 credits per year. I've learnt a lot about various aspects of academia since I have a plethora of courses to choose from. Plus I really liked most of the coursework.
Campus Life
Campus life is amazing. There's a lot to get from it including new people, new experiences, new food etc. My city could for sure use some new infrastructure to better help students. And university could create some new clubs like MUN and debating to bring out the best in students.
Placement
Jobs were really hard to find, especially due to massive discrimination by Indian employers who chose not on merit basis but on caste, race and nationality which is highly unfair.
Accommodation
I live in a rental room with a Sri lankan family who treats me really well. I get my own space. When shortlisting I always looked for the place where I get my comfort, privacy and a convenience to travel to university.
Fees
As an international student it was not that affordable but my university is one of the cheapest in the province so I won't complain. Plus I received a major scholarship so that was a major help for me and my parents.
Scholarship
I received my scholarship based on my class 12 final results where I had a 90 average. So I was automatically granted it based on that and my academic transcripts.
