  • General services are hard to get ahold of, qnd you will be playing phone tag for hours or on hold. People who often answer don't usually have useful information so its best to get help from anyone on campus instead.,
  • Teachers have often been out of the field more than a couple of years, and a lot of the curriculum is old as well. Some of the lessons can come across as oppressive towards todays society.,
  • Food is so expensive on campus, and tastes really bad. If you decide to come here, just go to food basics and fortinos (by Macmaster) on tuesdays and get student discount groceries. Dont buy on campus food, its an overexpensive waste.

Campus Life:

Many of our furniture is old and falling apart. Many of the food services are over expensive and not amazing quality. Clubs exist, I have never joined any. The library is good for computer use and online has access to articles and scholar resources. Ask for help if you need. The gym is nice, but the main gyms will be taken over by different programming so it's not always available to play basketball or do what you want when you want. You need your student card to access and can't bring your huge school bag. There's lots of information on whatever you're interested in, on open house.

Hostel:

I've been renting a student room for housing. It can be expensive and a hard search. I recommend going through Facebook marketplace and different student housing groups. If you are new to country, please learn about your rights as a tenant before renting. Lots of greedy landlords and scammers will try to take advantage of you. The college has resources for this. If off campus, you usually apply, pay first and last month and pay for all your own food and supplies. For student housing you usually need a student card or proof of enrollment.

Campus Life:

I studied at the international campus and was studying in the evening batch. Not a lot of events were attended by me for this reason, but as I became a staff member during my internship, I made sure to participate in all the activities I could, and it has been a very fun experience.

Hostel:

I arrived at a friend's pre- rented basement apartment and managed to find a room to rent in a house with a roommate. I later on moved out and started living alone for the sake of privacy and my mental peace. I changed 4 places in 2 years. The price for groceries kept on increasing due to inflation in Canada.

Facilities and services provided here are fabulous. You have health insurance, free gym membership and recreational activities.

I am currently living off campus in an apartment. We live 4 girls in sharing and the cost is around 400 CAD per month including utilities. The transportation inside city is free as our college provide us the free bus pass voucher.

Don’t get impressed too much still you are overpaying them. These all are necessities not luxury so don’t get overexcited seeing these around.

It is okay that’s what I am going to say. Because if you can’t find employment what you studied then what’s the point of the studying from these colleges. All these colleges are government funded and you are paying 4 times more. So, if you really want to spend money and want to study go for a better university. Don’t run behind agents choice.

I am currently living at home, as I am in driving distance of the campus. Sometimes I stay in Hamilton with family or friends, but generally I stay at home. This helps keep my expenses lower and more affordable.

It provided the exact course I wanted to take. it was close to where I live and I have heard great reviews about Mohawk. I knew some people who have taken this program before and therefore I knew it was the perfect program for me. So far, I have thoroughly enjoyed the program and the material included.

I have completed my high school in India with Non-medical stream. I wanted to build up my future in the chemical field particularly in wastewater treatment. I lived in Punjab province, college for chemical engineering was not so good there. I planned to move out to a different province for studies. I used to search for different colleges to study chemistry in India as well as abroad. I came to know about Mohawk college which is the best college of applied arts and technology. I did IELTS and applied for this college Besides this, my mom has applied to Seneca college on behalf of me but luckily Mohawk college accepted my application. I paid around Rs.13 Lakh including my GIC and 1st sem fees. I'm paying more than $8000 every semester. As I have completed my one and a half years here, I can say that this much money is worth according to the study and facilities provided by the college.

Hostel:

I lived on campus. It worked great having somewhat affordable housing with a meal plan so I knew food was covered. I didn't face any challenges. It cost me around $3,000 this year for residence and will cost me the same for the next 2 years of my program.

Great college with great success and cheap international fees. The admission process was very easy compared to other schools and I had all the prerequisites already. I found this college in an article listing the best colleges in North America. I've always wanted to continue my learning here because I've heard such great things.

First of all, I was living with my relatives but after a few months behavior changed so I had to change my residency and faced too many problems because I was unemployed from the last 6 months with no earnings and no savings. Thank god I was having my GIC with that I managed.

Because I liked the program and I liked the college campus and its activities for international students. And my agent told me about this college. So in this way, I chose this college. Even I read the college website and served many YouTube videos for having an idea about this college. I was very happy with my choice.
