  • Dislikes:
  • Well, the course is very basic. You don’t really get to learn a lot of things if you were somebody who has already had in

Course Curriculum:

It was a very basic program for someone who aspires to become a restaurant owner or manager. It would help kick-start your career in the industry. You learn a lot of things about handling food and customers too

Fees:

The university offers a payment plan The course is offered at the downtown campus which is pretty much useless The campus is in a basement Academic wise the money spent is not worth it. Better get a more specialized course

Course Curriculum:

The course I am studying is way updated comparing to my studies back home country . But the slides and pdfs professor takes to teach us are old. They represent 2019 some 2018. So there is accelerated program so I guess this is how its taught.

Fees:

Its $36,000 cad. But it will soon increase because of the cap on students. So I request everyone to plan accordingly.

  • Dislikes:
  • "One common concern is the rising cost of tuition, which can create financial burdens for students and limit accessibility. Some issues with overcrowded classrooms, impacting the quality of education and personal attention students receive. Another drawback is the potential mismatch between a student's expectations and the actual campus culture, leading to feelings of isolation or dissatisfaction. Bureaucratic hurdles, such as complex registration processes or administrative inefficiencies, can frustrate students. Moreover, Conestoga may struggle with outdated infrastructure or limited resources, affecting the overall learning environment. Instances of discrimination, harassment, or inadequate support services can also tarnish the college experience for some students. Finally, the competitive nature of college admissions can create stress and anxiety, contributing to mental health challenges among students."

Course Curriculum:

The course is updated almost to the latest standards, although some subjects are still lacking behind. The course offers a variety of practical and theoretical experience to begin with. There are management subjects which help to seek jobs at Management level in a company.

Fees:

36000 Canadian dollars for a 2 years course.
