Humber’s Business Management diploma program gets down to business with a practical, skills-based approach that will help you to begin a journey to achieve your goals and make a difference in organizations. Through individual and group assignments in courses taught by experienced professionals and entrepreneurs, you’ll build your business management knowledge and gain first-hand insights into current business practices, trends and opportunities. You will develop the practical skills today's employers demand through experiential learning opportunities including unique courses built around challenging business simulations, and even opportunities to build and participate in managing a real business.

If you're interested in pursuing a career in global business management, this intensive program with its extensive business management courses will enable you to explore key areas of "international business management, including marketing, finance, and supply chains. You will develop the core skills required to effectively manage the aspects of international business activities for an organization and gain hands-on experience during a placement in your third semester.

A general business management education provides the versatility to work in a variety of management careers. Langara College’s Business Management graduates are the chameleons of the work world and are able to draw on their solid business education to tackle business opportunities and problems. As well, those with an entrepreneurial spirit will gain the expertise to operate their own enterprise. In addition to courses from a variety of business areas including marketing, financial management and international business, students who choose this concentration complete general education support courses.

To be eligible for admission, you must possess the following:

• Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent including these required courses:
• Grade 12 English (ENG4C or ENG4U or equivalent)
• Grade 12 Mathematics (MAP4C, MCT4C, MDM4U, MCB4U, MGA4U, MCV4U or MHF4U) or Grade 11 M or U Mathematics (MCF3M or MCR3U)
• Two Grade 11 or Grade 12 C, M or U courses in addition to those listed above
• or
• Mature student status
• or
• College or university transfer status
• English Language Proficiency
• All applicants whose first language is not English must meet Humber’s English Language Proficiency Policy.

Applicants must be graduates of a diploma, advanced diploma, or degree program from an Ontario College or equivalent.

OR

Applicant must possess five years of work experience in a related field (or combination of education and work experience) as judged by the College to be equivalent.
