  • Dislikes:
  • Probably the fees. I was lucky to get a scholarship and a student loan to support my studies but that is not true for everyone.,
  • My parents supported me for the first few months before I found a part time job but juggling financial stability and full time study isn't the easiest.

Overview:

The overall experience has been great. I would recommend ANU to anyone interested in higher education. One of the most important thing is to network and seek help form faculties when needed.

Scholarship:

College of engineering and computer science postgraduate merit scholarship which gives 25% on first year fees. For, PhD I get a stipend and my fees are covered.

Overview:

ANU is the topmost Australian University and the only one funded by the national government. The supervisor was young and enthusiastic showed complete interest in my application and supported me throughout till I got accepted into the Ph.D. program. The facilities provided by ANU were excellent with a range of equipment and awesome labs.

Scholarship:

I received an ANU Ph.D. Scholarship covering a stipend of 25,000 AUD/year and HDR Fee Remission Fellowship to cover fees of 36,000 AUD/year. Both were applicable for 4 years or the end of the Ph.D., whichever ends earlier. The scholarship application was submitted by the University on my behalf.

Overview:

Australian National University (ANU) is ranked 1st in whole of Oceania and ranked 31th in QS world ranking, 2021. Apart from that, it has one of the best educational faculty having 8 Nobel prize winners including the present Vice Chancellor of ANU. It is the only university to be affiliated by the Australian parliament. I choose this particular program as it is the most flexible degree I can ever have. It has 3 majors and honours year for the 3 core subjects i.e. Finance, Statistics and Economics.

Scholarship:

I got the Vice Chancellor International Scholarship worth $25,000(one-time). This scholarship is automatically provided to the deserving candidates from my university, based on many factors mainly your ATAR score. Other than that, there are many other types of scholarship which needs to be applied for.

Overview:

Because of its reputation. I wanted to be in a university where research and workforce both were a part of a degree and this university is the only government-funded university in Australia. The professors are amazing, the campus is beautiful and the city is a place where students can easily focus.

Overview:

Australian national university is ranked as one of the best institutions in the world for studying public policy. In addition, Canberra is a conducive environment for students and has a very open-minded community. The reason for choosing Australia over any other global destination is that it has one of the highest minimum wages and is one of the safest countries to live in.

The course structure covers a lot of related topics which I think are very helpful to develop all-around knowledge regarding the management of a business on an international level. Apart from that, the global ranking of the university (19th) is pretty impressive

Overview:

I chose ANU for being the too University in the country, particularly for Law and anything internationally focussed. ANU is also 1 of 2 unis in Australia to offer development studies as its own degree rather than as an art major. The location of the uni and college life also really appealed to me.

Overview:

It was ranked well and I wanted to move away. This uni has a good structure of degrees, allowing me to pick up another degree at the same time if I wanted. It had good living arrangements for me as well.

No. My degree is paid on HECS and my accommodation is paid by my parents. I have a part-time job but I use this money for myself.
