  • There are career facilities provided by the university, but it all depends on how a student approaches the whole process.

My overall college experience has been very very good. It is expensive to live and enjoy Austin, TX but it is a great city compared to other parts of USA. Good experience in academics and also social life.

  • I feel like UT Austin is still on the road to reach at the level of an IVY league. This is both in respect to its faculty and students. For eg- there is a dire need for more scholars working on south Asian society and history.

It has been good so far. I want better academic training but i am happy to get support from faculty and department. Name of the University, My Faculty Advisor, Department Funding.

I wanted a job upon graduation. I ran cross country my first 1.5 years and UT had a great athletic program. Any major I switched to would have a good program as well, which is part of why I chose UT over another school with a good running program.
