- Academics, social network, career opportunities.,
- My professors were amazing and the facilities were great.,
- Many influential people are in the universities, and the networking potential is huge.
- Dislikes:
- It is a commuter college. Not many students live on campus. You have to go out of your way to network, but when you do, you will get a ton of opportunities.,
- The Texas weather - depends on whether you like heat or not! The summers are very hot, but the spring, fall and winter are pleasant.
Overview:
I chose this college because it had a good Biotechnology program, good pricing, and this degree is competitive in the job market. Overall, It was a great, enlightening experience where I learned to be independent, make friends, connect with professors and companies, and also where I worked hard and accomplished a lot. Now I have great job offers with good pay and a firm start to my professional life.
Fees:
USD 50,000 in total (approximately)
Overview:
I chose this university as it had good ranking for masters in business analytics; most people from the batch got job on time. Overall experience has been pretty positive although the fees is higher if you don’t get a scholarship. So try to score well in GRE and get a scholarship to make it worth.
Fees:
Fee structure: $16000 per semester
Overview:
I submitted 1 SOP, resume 3 LORs for my application. I wrote about my interest in the MSBA program and I linked it to how my professional experience of 1.5 years is relevant to this degree. I also mentioned relevant projects and extracurricular experience. LORs were given by my professors. My resume consisted information about my experience, educations, skills and projects. I was interested in UTD because of the ability to choose courses from various schools. Also, the location of the college is great and gives a homely feeling. I heard good reviews of this particular program and decided to go with it. I chose this program because I had experience with data in my workplace. I liked my work and wanted to explore it. It is a good university with great professors and academic programs. The infrastructure and extracurricular activities are good too. But I would say that it is very expensive without scholarship.
Fees:
Tuition fee for my program is $18000 per semester. Approximately $72000 for the program.
Overview:
No, there was no interview and or any test. Because, the tuition fee is quite less than other university. Computer Science department has some amazing professors with amazing papers they have worked on and have been working on a lot of recent technologies.
Fees:
total tuition: 65400 (1800*33 + 6000) Per Credit Fees : 1800 approx. MS in CS : Total Credit to complete is 33 credit Health Insurance : 1500 per semester
Overview:
It is a good university to study at. The campus life is good, the academic aspect is good. The only downside is that it is a bit expensive if there's no scholarship. Weigh the options well.
Fees:
The tuition fee is about $17000 per semester (usually for 3 courses).
Overview:
Finished one semester here at UTD. Wonderful experience so far. Learned a lot of new skills professionally and academically. Made a lot of new friends. Getting accustomed to the new style of learning in the US. Continuous assessments and graded homeworks are new and need to familiarise with. Been part of some student clubs and organisations. Looking forward to the next semester.
Campus Life:
Very vibrant campus life with a diverse population. Nearly 150 student run clubs and organisations to choose from and supported by management and faculty.

My experience at UT Dallas so far in my first semester has been great with their experienced faculty as well as on campus.

- Likes:
- Same Weather environment and lots of Indians. Also, amazing professors who great research in the field they will teach us.
Overview:
Its good for campus life but not from job factor. For a single part-time on-campus job itself vacancy to application ratio is about 1-400. So, anyone can imagine.
Fees:
For a single 3 credit course : $5,800 So, my course is 33 credits therefore: approx $64,000 (Non-resident fee).
- Likes:
- Course flexibility and a lot of options to choose from. Perfect mix of techno-Management courses.
- Dislikes:
- Nothing in particular.
Fees:
US$53,000
Campus Life:
The campus is always filled with students. There's some or other club who has their booth set up almost everyday. There are almost 400 students organization at UTD. Each club has a faculty advisor. The university recreational center is always jam packed with students training their bodies. The volleyball ground has their practice sessions now and then. The auditorium are always booked with events. The library has probably the best building on campus. The campus has Wi-Fi connections in every nook and corner. The research here are well funded and has all the latest equipment needed.
- Likes:
- I was looking for a more handson digital marketing kind of a course, which only two universities provided for marketing that i could get based on my scores. The course structure was better at UTD and so i chose UTD,
- UTD makes you feel like you are still connected to home. Majority of The faculty and students are Indians which give you a sense of familiarity and you dont miss home as much.,
- This acts like a positive and a negative. But for me it was a major positive as I am more of a social person and I could connect better with people.
- Dislikes:
- The major thing that I dislike about UTD is that the some of the courses taught by Indian faculties still follow the traditional indian teaching ways and havent evolved to the change that we wish to go there for. I personally faced this in 2 of my courses.
Overview:
My overall experience was very good. I had an on-campus job at the parking and transportation department. The education and extra curricular activities were too good.
Fees:
Around USD 70,000
